@kaia_ sounds challenging but exciting
What do you think will happen after we die?
-
According to your religion, what do you believe will happen?
I don't believe in God, and I think literally nothing will happen after we die. Our bodies will just stop working and we'll slowly rot away.
I know some people believe that your soul never dies and it goes somewhere, and some people believe that we go up to either Heaven or Hell, and some people believe we reincarnate into something else, so I want to know what you think? -
I either think you just stop existing or the other one is a bit more far fetched, but that you simply relive your life. As in you are born back again in whatever year your birthday is and you just live your whole life again, with no memory that everything has already happened to you before. I know the second one is pretty unlikely, but that’s what I like to believe so i won’t be scared of death and it works sooo
-
@wtfjudith I believe in the first one, but I have thought about the second one and it does sound kinda unlikely but it's a possibility. It's called reincarnating by the way, to live a new life as a new person with no memory of your past life.
-
@layla It's not really a religion but I like to believe that our souls will be passed on to a different body.
-
@layla I’m not talking about reincarnating into a new being, but living your own life all over again. It’s kinda weird
-
@wtfjudith Okay yeah that is weird. Interesting though. So you're saying that you keep repeating your life over and over again and so does everyone around you so you've been with them in previous lives too?
-
@layla that’s exactly it, I don’t believe too hard in it, but I like to think it’s a possibility
-
@wtfjudith How did you even come up with that, I've never heard that before?
-
@layla I reflected on reincarnation for a while and found out that the idea seemed interesting to me, but not quite right. So idk how exactly, but I concluded that relieving your own life over and over again might be a possibility
-
A lot of things will happen, but not to me or because of me.
As soon as my brain will have stoped its activity, I'll just cease to exist. A negligible amount of energy will dissipate from an inert quantity of chemical substances that, before my death, "served" me. -
@martin_eden Interesting. Thank you for sharing your opinion!
-
@layla What does God have to do with death or with anything in general?
-
@layla Nice to hear it.
-
@martin_eden Well some people believe that God created us. And God waits for us in Heaven or Hell after we die.
-
@layla They believe that god waits for us in Heaven satan is in hell
-
@cheesecake-lesb My grandma is a christian
-
@cheesecake-lesb Oh yeah, thanks. I don't believe in God so I didn't know.
-
@layla i don't really either
-
People’s beliefs are irrelevant. Death is the embodiment of objective reality. Wishful thinking is the embodiment of subjectivity.
-
Maybe we will be somewhere we don't know.
