I spend my days stuck inside my head so often that I feel the need to stifle and suppress my thoughts. Thinking is wonderful but can lead to weird problems that don't actually exist just by overthinking. I think it's important for personal development but it really can lead you to dark places inside of yourself you never knew were there. It does make me range through every available emotion which infuriates me. All in all. If everyone took a bit of time to meditate and think the world would be much better off.
@Crazyman36 having preconception about something or someone in advance, without confronting what other things or person has to offer, limits our scope of understanding and growth. Usually, prejudice is born out of one's conditioning- the environment in which he was raised and most of all, people while growing up take loads of information from people and they analyze with their own limited brains.. and that's how one reaches to an understanding about someone or something( hence, develops a specific understanding patterns). it's something like they are wearing their own blue colored glasses and believe the world to be bluish! but they fail to consider even to look through other's glasses. prejudice could be 'cause of limited understanding or due to ego(which gives a person an impression that what he believes is the only way and ultimate truth, people like these live in ignorance for their entire existence)
I'm almost intimately familiar with this. I do a similar thing, though I wouldn't categorize it as perfectionism. It's different than that. I would have to take some time to think of how to explain it. Pm me if you would like.
@Marcomarco okay the thing was all that was a whole lot of vague rubbish lol, like I know literally anything or anyone u cant just stamp good, or bad, I mean you can, but that would be taking the easy way out. But religion is so deep rooted in cultures, it effects so much of how a person is.
Like the Gun argument, its in the 2nd ammendment right of an American to bear arms, and it shapes a more violent culture where things are settled with guns, while guns are completely forbided and against the law in a lot of countries like Japan for instance, where u must go through strict regulations to get one, in the most docile non violent countries.
Although I understand the point ur getting at, like in the end of the day it is up to the person not the religion itself, but the religion itself greatly influences how u act and behave as a person, that forms the good or bad question.
I NEVER GET SCARED AND I FEAR NOTHING, MY ANSWER IS ONLY THE ONES THAT HAVE HEART AND BELIEVE IN GOD 💯💯😎😎💪💪🦁🦁 THATS HOW I FEEL AND I WILL NEVER CHANGE. I ESCAPED DEATH BY FALLING OFF A 30 FT CLIFF AND I SAVED MY 3RD DAUGHTERS LIFE ON THE STRENGTH OF GOD. SO EVEN WITHOUT THOSE EVENTS HAPPENING I STILL WOULDNT BE SCARED OR FRIGHTENED
But how do you ask for such things? Ask others to judge and flatter you .. will you be satisfied with the answers? And above all yours will be distorted, because they are based on what others think of you .. Does this seem important to you?
Who really knows you if not you?
@sedstar Thanks for your response, It is such a shame when you see people that need help , but do not recieve it.
On the other hand, it is also a shame when people abuse the kindness and generosity of others.
