if you are asking of pure love, it doesn't exist here in this world..be it between man and a woman or man and man or woman and woman. Love is not bounded by sexes, but before that you must know what pure love looks like and where do we see it? so, pure love is selfless and unmotivated by any personal selfish desires. what we see about so called "love" in today's world is merely few millimeter deep, because skin is in mm. we don't see a person running after an ugly or fat girl, even though she might be perfect in all of her attributes. people are after slim, crisp bodily features. moreover, they are basically after their selfish desires( which is lust) and once they have enjoyed the that person, the lust sets off and the people starts to realize incompatibility with their partners..that's why they end up in separation! the idea of "love" in the begining is motivated by looks(lust) which covers one's intelligence and the person is not able to think right..even though he might say the opposite. people are often together for what they can get from others and not because of what they can give. pure love is selfless, not depended on sexes, or looks. In this whole world this selfless love you will find only between a mother and her newly born child. whatever the mother does is selfless, all she cares about is her little infant. she voluntarily accepts discomfort for her child and all her activities are meant for her child's satisfaction. That's what love is. this same idea of love can be extended to each and every living beings. This pure love has one aspect though- "compassion". just like fire is hot, sugar is sweet, similarly, this pure love when expressed, comes out as "compassion" not that you try to rub your genitals with some person and call it to be love.. that's pure lust! so, to answer your question whether it is bisexual.. well, it is beyond that and can be extended to other living entities.. which is expressed as compassion and desire to serve selflessly for the satisfaction/happiness of the object of our love. so, what you feel normally is Lust.. we call it to be love because that's how our modernism has propagated it( in a perverted fashion). hope this helps.

Pursuit of happiness.. let's discuss, shall we?
We all are looking for happiness/pleasure -be it in a relationship, or work, eating a piece of cake, winning a lottery, boozing, sex, fame, wealth, or any other opulences. We may be having different paths, different upbringings, different status but we all share a common driving force and a common goal- to be happy! Yet despite all perseverance, we aren’t satisfied and often feel a sense of longing for “something”. Poor people think that having all the comforts might make them happy and whereas wealthy people, despite having everything..are restless, depressed and disturbed. At times we hanker for something or someone so dearly and after a while that very thing or person becomes the cause of our lamentation. Look at the faces of people on the streets carefully. You’ll see that they don’t only look lost in thought, but also seem anxious, on edge, annoyed and, most importantly, unhappy. Listen to what they are talking about and you’ll hear that they keep complaining to each other about their problems and how distressed they are. So, what is happiness really? Or is it just an imaginary thing to have? Or are we looking it at the wrong places?

RE: How The Hell And Why On Earth Did I Came Here?...
You are Ukrainian or not, I am glad to see a human. hello! :)
not only your friends are lost but you are lost too, actually we all are lost. and just like you we all landed here. when I saw the title- I thought it to be some sort of philosophical question. haha. but it's a nice question to ponder upon though- why are you really here, on earth? and of course, where did you come from?
but anyways, think about it.. you had friends, now you feel alone and now you have a fiance too. congrats btw.. so, yeah today she is there but at some point of time you are going to be alone again. I don't want sound harsh but we should face the reality with a sober mind and not that we are living our whole life in a denial right. why am I saying this? because we all are looking for that zing in relations, in people, in things etc and I see your disappointment in the people around you. I don't know how far your search of connecting with people around the world will go and for how long.. I would like to say something about it though- the problem here is not about where you live and with whom you live, people in general, everywhere around the globe are dissatisfied and feel alone amidst their loved ones too and that's a fact. we have a tendency to think that grass is always greener on the other side. I don't mean to destroy your spirit but just to give a proper perspective you know. what I mean to say is, that zing which you and we all are seeking doesn't lie outside -in "things" or "people" or in situations but within ourselves! We all are investing a great deal of time in managing the external affairs so well but we have are not even considering the crisis within which is where whole worlds starts to make sense. for instance- if within , you are agitated then no matter what you do and search externally, you won't be at ease at all. In a nutshell, what I am trying to say is- try to invest your time to figure the stuffs within. that way it won't matter where you are living or what is happening around. hope that makes sense. -

RE: Bottom of the Ocean
@Ash005 desires are very fleeting and doesn't provide zing in the long run. Today you can have 'abc' desire, tomorrow you will be running after 'xyz'.. if that's how we mean to run helter-skelter throughout our lives, life would be shallow and "meaningless". everyone is going somewhere, we are following them too and if asked why? we go like- "oh, everyone is going there".. we eat, we breath, we sustain ourselves etc, why? -- to live!.. well, why do you want to live sir? --idk. most people just go blank at that question.. some people just want to follow their passion(desires) but it's not going to last long, at the end you would sill be unsatisfied and disturbed. in fact, Charlie Chaplin was diagnosed with mental health issues too.. if that's how life is going to end after following our "desires", what's the point in living then? life is more than just desires, unless there is a meaning and purpose to our lives- we will continue look for that "meaning" here and there in the name of desires. Also, if life was only about desires.. what could possibly define the state of drug addicts? they might think it to be the highest thing in the life to pursue for, but a sane person will be able to see their misery and how much they are actually suffering. desires can be toxic and might lead to distress and at times desires are so overwhelming that they makes us do so many things which we might later regret and lament like anything. of course desires are there, it's the characteristics of living beings.. but life is not just desires!!

RE: Pursuit of Happiness
@MadMax_Sensei we all are naturally seeking for happiness, today we have something, tomorrow we'll be looking for something else. Our base drive is to attain pleasure or happiness. we all can't be happy unless we pursue it but it depends where you pursue it. In today's world we all are seeking for it in things or outside world.. if we look at saints and their experiences, they say to seek happiness within ourselves. So, instead of looking for it outside try to look within yourself because if within there is no peace or satisfaction or happiness, you will always be agitated by what happens on the outside and this world is full of uncertainties and objects of pleasure are temporary, they can give you pleasure only for a while and not for too long.. that's why people are always on the look out for something new and exciting but again those things too don't last long. A beautiful analogy is given in this regard- there is deer who's glands secret a fragrant musk and that deer spends his whole life searching for it but he's unable to find it 'cause it's right there inside him. so, like that deer we all are looking for happiness here and there but it's within ourselves. pursue it within!
without pursuit you can't be happy 'cause knowingly or unknowingly we all are in pursuit of it. that's in our nature, you can't stop looking for it. -
RE: Why are people prejudiced?
@Crazyman36 having preconception about something or someone in advance, without confronting what other things or person has to offer, limits our scope of understanding and growth. Usually, prejudice is born out of one's conditioning- the environment in which he was raised and most of all, people while growing up take loads of information from people and they analyze with their own limited brains.. and that's how one reaches to an understanding about someone or something( hence, develops a specific understanding patterns). it's something like they are wearing their own blue colored glasses and believe the world to be bluish! but they fail to consider even to look through other's glasses. prejudice could be 'cause of limited understanding or due to ego(which gives a person an impression that what he believes is the only way and ultimate truth, people like these live in ignorance for their entire existence)

RE: Is there life after death?
yes, there is. ask yourself a question that is this the first time you are feeling your existence.? ..like all of sudden you came to consciousness on your birth date? Unlike what others suggest this piece of life to be the product of combination of chemicals, which is absurd and not possible at all and if it is then why chemicals at our disposal can't produce some animate object? because life comes from life! consciousness is a symptom of the presence of soul- just like sunlight comes from sun(here sunlight is likened to consciousness spread all over our body and sun to be like soul). Moreover, there have been lot of scientific research too like near death experiments, past life regression therapy and countless other proofs that there is something beyond this body and mind and it passes on from one life to other- soul! . we can't trace soul because it's very small for us to probe it and it's not something which can be traced by any instruments.. let alone that, we can't even trace mind! they call our thoughts to be some electrical signals in the brain but yet no one can make a sense out of them. so, yeah there is life after death for sure.

@An-Evil-Clown love has nothing to do with sex. it's bodily attraction!! we confuse that with love. gay or not gay, that's not the point.

RE: What does sorry actually mean?
@Miss_Imperfect I guess by now you must be having two grandchildren? :face_with_tears_of_joy:
glad it made sense! -
RE: What does sorry actually mean?
@Heccikage well, if the sorry is really genuine then it's enough and yeah things won't go back to normal right away but we can really appreciate that at least they are sorry.. I mean most of the people don't even say that. We can go even further, humans do make mistakes or sometimes go even beyond that because people are motivated and affected by their "conditionings" and "situations/circumstances". In this world, people learn to hate even before they learn to reason.. sure, we get hurt but we can place ourselves in their place and think from their perspectives. if something like that would have happened because of me, we naturally aspect others to understand us right? then why not with others? why not listen to them? if people have that one fault then we must reflect that upon us and see how many faults we have?!
of course somethings would just not make sense to us, we go like- "I wouldn't have done that " but we must remembers that we all are "conditioned" beings and also it would help us if we forgive them, otherwise we will keep burning from within and lose our peace of mind. A humble and a grateful heart is always happy and that can happen only if we learn to forgive and don't let your ego in between. what's more important than people realizing their mistake and trying to work on it right? rather than focusing on what they did, we can look out for why they did it? like core reason? it could be insecurity, greed, ignorance, uncontrolled urges etc. we all are conditioned by all these things, some people have different blend and amounts in their personality traits. how could that love be so insubstantial and weak that over some misdoings we can't accept them back?
Also, there could be a possibility that the person is toxic-we should move away after we have exhausted with all our efforts, tolerance, patience etc. but in either case, it's the people and love which matters.. love means reciprocation, and you can't love things.
long thing short- trust doesn't go back to normal immediately, it takes time but we shouldn't be driven by past mistakes and mishaps and judge others on that basis, especially if that person is trying really hard to transform himself/herself. In "love" our inconveniences doesn't matter much but only the happiness of our loved ones.. if you truly love someone, you must learn to forgive them. -

RE: What's the most important thing in life ?
@Shardana certainly there are things more important than wealth, beauty, or fame etc but we often times don't get to choose our state of health, like a person suffering from some sort of chronic disease or cancer or could be anything. at that moment no matter how much we try our best to get over it, we just can't! ..that time all that a person needs is love, affection and association of his beloved people. I mean what's the point of having a good health when there is no one in our lives with whom we can reciprocate our feelings and emotions. No doubt health is necessary but not the only important thing in life and that's right- things do lose their meaning if a person goes away but that shouldn't condemn us from having a purposeful or meaningful life. because one day or the other we'll become old and weak, that time if there is no one in our lives then what's the point? that also doesn't means that we should be running after wealth or fame or beauty or puffed up of our status, NO! big no! that too will lose it's meaning. People now a days are very much in to these things.. they love things and use people to get it, but people are meant to be loved and things are meant to be used.. things just can't give fulfillment to the heart only meaningful love and relation can! ( not any superficial relations, NO!)
This is, I guess is the most important thing in life.
