• @cjko Relying on your partner for your happiness

  • @murdagangshit omg. Well, you should accept her decision. She just came out of her shell and showed her true colors. :)
There's still a lot of fish in the sea. No worries :)

    @cjko As wiki says:
The hedgehog's dilemma, or sometimes the porcupine dilemma, is a metaphor about the challenges of human intimacy. It describes a situation in which a group of hedgehogs seek to move close to one another to share heat during cold weather. They must remain apart, however, as they cannot avoid hurting one another with their sharp spines. Though they all share the intention of a close reciprocal relationship, this may not occur, for reasons they cannot avoid.

omg, I like this Hedgehog's dilemma. It explains why you got hurt sometimes.. It's just being part of the nature and part of being someone who does feel something. :) Thank you for this BTW

@cjko as a scientist i would say its because love is a chemical reaction and it will end sometime , its just a need to reproduce and it will fail 80% i hope i didnt just ruin somebody elses life dont worry you still have around 20% chance that your love chemical reaction will not stop duringy your lifetime :3

hahaha thank you for this.. well, if that's the case.. how are you going to explain those couple who stayed in love til death ? :)

  • @rendezvous 3 is kinda waste of time for me.. :D

  • @nycspilot wow. yeah true.. you mean, this is the nature of loving.. you get hurt and love again.

  • @giant-panda well, you can't blame that person who relies her happiness to that someone, because that someone is her source of happiness.

  • @cjko but problem with this is that it may put too much pressure on your partner.

  • Gamers

@cjko i aleready mentioned the chemical reaction can stay for a lifetime , or just 1 day, it is random :3

  • @giant-panda which is true

  • @jessicagrant ok,, thank you

    1. Not enough trust
    2. building the relationship on a bad foundation
    3. bad communication
    4. putting too many expectations on the other person
    5. not being ready

aaaww. These reasons were all good. :)
It hit me real hard. HAHA thank you for this :)

  • Ok so, this may sound stupid and immature xD
But what i believe is that relationships aren't supposed to last. Ever.
Nature is only concerned with reproduction and propagation of genes. Nature want's us to move on and bang another to get more varied next generation.
Animals don't get married. Neither are we supposed to.
Now what makes people come together is either FRIENDSHIP or LUST.
When both co-exist it's called "true love" i guess. Friendship can last forever but I'm not so sure about lust.
So imho relationships are made to be broken.
Do tell me what you think about it ~

I see where your coming from with comments. I came to an epiphany years ago where I came to very similar opinions.

The thing is though, it is nice to think that there is such a thing as true love and that it is out there for all of us somewhere. The way society is changing more & more I have begun to think that it's not out there for everyone.... but I still hope, since hope is what breads perseverance and perseverance leads to success.

    it's kinda weird, haha :D
but I admit you got a point there, well, that's your perspective. We do have our views that's beyond or didn't meet with other's view

I always believed that our bf/gf should be an upgraded version of our best friend. In order to love someone you 1st need to have some kind of bound with em. Lust or sexual attraction happens cuz of our nature, but I wanna believe there are more feelings behind it.

  • @mr-h I feel you but why do you think like this?

  • In retrospect, i would like to make a change in my statement xD.
Relationships can last when friendship is strong enough to more than compensate for the loss(if at all) in lust. That's a true commitment then.

@Mr-Peanut Hi5 about the enlightenment xD
Imagining there's a true love out there for you is justified by the theory of probability xD
If by societal changes you mean decreased rate of commitment, it is just because people are realising that sex is the real need, not love. Otherwise society was always the same as it is now, regarding love. Some people don't find a love due to problems in themselves, or bad luck(not having met the right kind of person).

Yep hope is a good thing. May people persevere to find their OTP xD.

@cjko lol the most basic of truths sound weird sometimes.

@Mr-H You're right. That special bound is true friendship. Real love can't be without friendship.
