Letter to Friend

Til the day we meet again
To no good heart, I place this trial
Here and there, but never now
Mile after mile,
I miss you, old friend

With one day to pass
and another that should come
To wait and to wait,
A curse no man should hold fate,
To make one's heart feel a ton

I miss your words, your wonderous laughter
Here on after, I'll see you soon
Til the day we meet again
And embrace one another
Til the day I complete my tale,
And soon be with each other
