@Janet That's great.... 🙂 My favourite thing is I wanna go for a cycle ride.. like a picnic through the hills enjoying the beauty of the nature... Riding in the morning when the cold wind slightly blows.. and watching the birds flying... Then.. going to the mountain.. and then watching the things I mean the trees, lakes, cities... From the mountain... Its really a nice adventurous trip it'll give a nice feeling...
Why does caregiver and caretaker mean the same thing?
-
Yeah..they are synonymous and I often use them interchangeably.
Its just funny how the "give" and "take" are used in two different words but mean they same thing. What are your thoughts about this?Have you encountered a similar word?

Caretaker” vs “Caregiver” I think that "caretaker" is more appropriate for someone who takes care of things or inanimate property; whereas "caregiver" would be someone who takes care of a person. I'm just amused at how the opposite roots of "give" and "take" are used to mean the same thing.

Over here a 'caregiver' is someone whom looks after another person or creature (all be it they may work in an animal sanctuary) ....
but as far as I know over here a 'caretaker' is someone that look's after a property, land or an object of some description.I have a good chance that I'm off the mark with this, but I think I am correct for the UK at least lol
