Yeah..they are synonymous and I often use them interchangeably.
Its just funny how the "give" and "take" are used in two different words but mean they same thing.What are your thoughts about this?Have you encountered a similar word?
Over here a 'caregiver' is someone whom looks after another person or creature (all be it they may work in an animal sanctuary) ....
but as far as I know over here a 'caretaker' is someone that look's after a property, land or an object of some description.
I have a good chance that I'm off the mark with this, but I think I am correct for the UK at least lol
