Yeah..they are synonymous and I often use them interchangeably.
Its just funny how the "give" and "take" are used in two different words but mean they same thing.
What are your thoughts about this?Have you encountered a similar word?
Over here a 'caregiver' is someone whom looks after another person or creature (all be it they may work in an animal sanctuary) ....
but as far as I know over here a 'caretaker' is someone that look's after a property, land or an object of some description.
I have a good chance that I'm off the mark with this, but I think I am correct for the UK at least lol
