This heart of glass (poem version)
-
Some people don’t notice this heart of glass.
Some look while others, they pass.
Glancing in the mirror he can only see.
Who in the world could accept me?
Little did he know how beautiful he truly was
One day this girl would fall for him because...
She sees past all the damage and pain,
She looks for the future and for both to gain.
To gain love and trust like everyone needs,
To grow a new fond love that always feeds.
Feeds on the happiness that they both make,
The happiness that fixed each other and made them great.
So here’s the tail of the heart now bonded,
The heart now beautifully perfect due to the love it has founded.
So before you judge a heart that is broken,
Look at the damage and take it as a token.
Something to realize what all they’ve went through,
With all of that suffering they knew.
Look at the help that you can do.
Their final hope could probably be you...(This is a poem based off of @BOOTS22 Post)

When you're dealing with something so fragile,
you have to be a little gentle,
and support what ever path they would like to be taking,
you'll see the mistakes that will cause some cracking,
but as long as there is a good support behind,
those cracks will be filled in no time,
so just help their travels with a cautious hand,
and when you listen to them all they want you to do is understand,
their point of view,
and all that they've been going through. -
@us-poet wow!..haha...an observers response to my poem..Awesome!

@us-poet When I was writing my response, I thought of this poem:
The Passionate Shepherd to His Love
by Christopher Marlowe (1599).Later in 1600, Sir Walter Raleigh made a reply to this poem entitled:
The Nymph's Reply to the Shepherd
