In a perfect world , would you rather have more knowledge, more imagination ,or more empathy?
-
@Karina-Kara hey,how are you? Cheer up! :)
Knowledge is power. That is true indeed. -
@Div said in In a perfect world , would you rather have more knowledge, more imagination ,or more empathy?:
Thats a tough one
But Imagination will be my choice.
Why?
Because.
In a perfect world, people are already perfect. They have achieved all the knowledge they could. And with knowledge comes understanding. Understanding not only of our surroundings, but also of ourselves. And this understanding alleviates all kinds of ignorance and paves the way for empathy. A sense of responsibility, not only towards ourselves, but also towards other creatures and nature.
So, a perfect world, will be created by knowledge and empathy.
But someone will need to be imaginative enough to do it 😉we need to be imaginative first for us to be able to come up with a perfect world. yeah :)
-
@cjko
More imagination would mean more procrastination, without actually executing the imaginations into structure.
We already have enough of empathy and anymore of it would just lead to more sadness in the world, because you can only empathise with those in pain and seeing the amount of naggist this world has, no thank you.. we don’t need anymore of it.
And knowledge is wisdom. A world without fools will be free of Sarcasm, but that is a worthy enough sacrifice to make for the betterment of the world. -
@cjko I believe Empathy, for it would lead individuals to seek the best in fact, not the unique and exclusive satisfaction of their ego. This would lead to seeking the knowledge of truth without the contamination of personal interests and these individuals would be able to abstract and imagine, but also to materialize these aspirations. However, there is a balance between these aspects.
-
In other words is like balancing the mind, body, and spirit. But in a ego system form. ?
-
i think empathy
i already have more imagination rn, but i think now i also have empathy tookay final answer is knowledge lol
-
@MAUI This trinity is not formed in our minds. We tend to overestimate one over the other.

@cjko said in In a perfect world , would you rather have more knowledge, more imagination ,or more empathy?:
What would you rather have? Why ?
What's a perfect world?
A place where everyone has infinite knowledge, or where our minds can fly and imagine whatever we want, or a world that the habitants of the world are pure and crystal clear to everyone?
Why'd we need to choose any of those in the 1st place if it was perfect?
If I had to choose and assuming the world really is perfect, I'd go with imagination as everyone would have enough knowledge and imagination is some sort of... a gift. If I had to pick this question for our own would, I'd go with knowledge, there's no point in having a wilder mind if I don't have the knowledge to understand it! -
knowledge makes you live better. Imagination makes you escape reality with more ease. Empathy makes you miserable in this life. I guess I would rather be smarter and wiser.
-
@Lurker haha you know where a perfect world existed?
-
@Brazilian-Guy I see.. you chose knowledge over imagination and empathy.
-
@its-bobby hahah ok, so.. you won't go for imagination
-
@cjko said in In a perfect world , would you rather have more knowledge, more imagination ,or more empathy?:
@Lurker haha you know where a perfect world existed?
In our imagination only hahahaha :joy: It's up to us to make ours as close to perfection as we can
-
@Berin it is a must to have balance in all aspects of our lives indeed. Since it's a perfect world, we assumed. Would you still choose to add more to its perfection ?
-
@Lurker haha you got it! :)
-
@cjko Thanks to extend our discussion Ckjo! I like your topics!
We are emotional and sensory creatures endowed with reason and free will, still dominating our most primitive impulses guided by selfishness.
In a perfect world the quality of these emotions would lead us to harmony and justice. Our sensory experiences lead to diverse emotions and lead to decision making. With higher scores of empathy allied to rationality we would be able to make fair decisions, for in an idealized world of perfection there would be no pride and selfishness, which are the source of ignorance. Ignorance gives rise to evil, which is the absence of good. -
@Berin my pleasure.. thank you Berin , I'll take it as a compliment. :)
If that thing will happen , the world will be the best place to live in for everyone. -
