Just Some Letters And Words

The night has the moon and the beautiful stars,
None of it however could heal my scars.
All it took in the end was an angel with a beautiful heart,
To put together a broken me who was starting to fall apart.

'Are you the one for me?' was the question I had,
With you around, life wouldn't be even half as bad.
The way we tune, everything just feels easy and right,
Even though sometimes I mess things up and pick up a silly fight.
But baby know this, that at the end of the day,
I wouldn't swap you for anyone else, is what I had to say.
These are just letters and words arranged in a few lines,
But how I feel about you in my heart, no words can define.

The present is ours, the future? Who knows.
But I will always be grateful, that I was the one you chose.
And baby someday in the future even if you're no longer mine,
I will still remember you and cherish these memories over a glass of wine.
