@kaia_ should we makeout?
Do you know this fact? (For science fellas)
-
It can take a photon 40,000 years to travel from the core of the sun to the surface, but only 8 minutes to travel the rest of the way to earth.
-
@Bill-Dhivid ok wanna know another cool fact ? There is a star, that has been so condensed that it only has neutrons in it
-
Why’s it only gotta be the fellas? ☹️I knew it too.
-
@Bill-Dhivid yups..N not only photons other elements form inside the core also take similar time..to use convections currents N reach the surface of Sun.
P.S:why isnt there a section dedicated to only science i wonder.lol.xDD -
@Tall-M true, they're called pulsars ,there are thousands of em in the Galaxy.👍
-
@Mia-x sorry for that🙏, but science fellas are also the people who find it interesting too. Hence you're included.👍
-
@Imduck that would be interesting if it's a section separately dedicated to science.
Tho we won't win if we'll try democratically, keep spreading our religion/community/Ethnicity our dear science.😄🙏 -
@Imduck For photons the density matters, hence the more photons travell outwards the more faster it gets. You must have read this relationship that speed of light is inversely proportional to the density of medium it travels.
-
@Bill-Dhivid Yeah..democratically..not a chance. But this section is....kinda less active than the others.Wondering where other science lovers are??
-
@Bill-Dhivid yups...Speed of light gets slower in an optically denser medium..Tho saying inversely proportional is..a bit wrong.
-
doesnt the sun also produce Neutrinos? dont they come from photons?
-
@Imduck Perhaps they haven't got enough time to waste here😅, they must be busy in doing real contribution to science.😅
-
@Bill-Dhivid Um..they are humans too tho...i hv seen other platforms get hot debates on sc..but Tws is a bit back from that perspective ig.

@mikeJB You're right, Sun produces only electron neutrinos as product of nuclear fusion.
two protons ----> deuteron + positron + electron neutrino.
P +p ----> d + (e+) + (Ve)
This reaction contributes to 86% production of solar neutrinos. -
@mikeJB Lol srry pal..not whole asses tho. N ya..neutrinos r produced frm sun..yes tho the later part is debatable
-
@Imduck what other platforms? Suggest me some.
-
here is a science question. why the hell is it taking so damn long to come up with an antitode for this Coronavirus that mimics the common flu?????????????
-
@mikeJB not sure buddy, perhaps it's a tiny ant but difficult for elephant.
-
@Bill-Dhivid oh.. I won't really name any.. Just ask around for sc forums.. U will get to them 😁
