I find this zealous dogma very offensive and misplaced on a forum which not only is meant for everyone but also is populated by many people at a low ebb. This stinks, to me, having been through it in childhood courtesy of roman catholics, mormons and jehovah's witnesses, of the usual grooming and taking advantage of the vulnerable. If you feel you have dine such bad things you deserve to be punished, crucified, whatever, then fuck off and do it in private and ket the rest of us live our lives free from your guilt trips, indoctrination and exploitation. And before you wring your hands about how offensive i have been, remember that you are that offensive to me and it was you that brought it here
What do you think about feelings?

Do we need them? Do they hold us back? Do they make us do stupid things? Are they the only thing that keeps us going as a society? What do you think?

@Merlin-James feelings are weird. I don’t recommend it, but they happen. Can you specific in what you are talking about.
-
Feelings are only relevant when there are people out there to acknowledge and reciprocate them. Otherwise they aren't valued and are burdening.

@Merlin-James Feelings are messages from yourself to your higher self .. we react to anything based on how we feel about it . Yet knowladge is the fuel to thier growth ,and everything we do in our lives is motivated by feelings ... Still so much to say on this topic 😁 but Imma stop here .

with no feelings , we will become living dead bodies. (Zombieeee)

sometimes they hold us back but depending upon the strength of your will power even negative feelings can motivate you to do something great.
3)well in a society we always want peace and humbleness but, with no feelings people will stop caring about each other and there will be no unity among people due to which societies will break.

For some reason your post reminded me of a book I read called "Who Moved My Cheese". In it the Author asks.... "what would you do if you were not afraid?" Its true if you think of it in a positive way. If you had no feeling of fear you would do new things a lot, and change can be good. BUT in a way fear can also keep you safe by not doing something stupid and getting hurt or even killed. SO yes feelings can hold you back but sometimes that can be a good thing.
sorry wall of text lol
