What's the story behind your username?

@Equinox ok, well, synesthesia, like i said, is a condition that deals with the cross wiring of your 5 senses. and it's not the same for all. for some, if they hear a sound, they smell a certain thing. or if they see something, they have a certain taste to go w/ it. for me, tho, i have only two types, though there are over 72 types. i associate letters and numbers with characteristics, like, one is shy, two is bossy, stuff like that. and the same for letters, as well. a is bossy, b is actually shy, and etc. my other type is where words and phrases have colors. actually, numbers, letters, words and phrases have colors. so, your name, for instance, gives me this cool, electro-futuristic blue color, with a lighter neon blue outlining the letters. my username is a sunset color from a light pink to a dark purple. it was pretty and made me happy, lol. oh, sounds have specific colors as well, lol. so things like music, a door closing, stuff like that. haha sorry 4 ma long ass explanation. 😅😅

Mine is kinda simple... Whiterose comes from the meaning of my real name, and 4001 was my school's registration number. I would have changed it, but some people say it kinda draws people to talk to me. So I don't think I would be changing it anytime soon.

@Scottish LOL I FIGURED THIS WOULD HAPPEN IF I POSTED THIS!! 🎉😝 honestly, this condition is a blessing AND a curse, bc at times it's impossible to control when im in a loud area, bc i can physically SEE the colors, and when its SUPER loud, it nearly blinds me. other times its ignorably under control. as for your username, however, the color is very neutral, like a nude shade, lol. it's very peaceful, and depending on how i say it, actually, it can go from this stone nude color and stone like texture, to the blue of the ocean with a wave formation incremented into the letters. haha, i sound crazy, don't i?? 😅😅

@Sweet-Skylines86 SweetSkylines you don't sound crazy at all. It actually puts me in mind of experiences I've had after taking hallucinogenic drugs, that merging and expanding of the senses. I can appreciate the heightened beauty you see in things and also understand how overwhelming it must be for you sometimes. It sounds like you are permanently wired into parts of your brain that i can only access with chemicals. And like a much more amplified and widespread version of that thing where smell is the sense most closely associated with memory so a certain smell will instantly unlock buried memories in a second. Thankyou for replying. And incidentally your words i find very interesting as i live less than five minutes walk from the sea, a big bay surrounded by rugged hills and on the way i pass a big old stone castle too. How uncanny is that?! 😊

@Sweet-Skylines86 Doesn't everyone think it's cool? I've really enjoyed when I've had heightened sensory experiences, thinking i can see music and stuff, it opens doors in the mind. I imagine you have moments of wishing you could switch off for a.while though

From there i used everywhere nicknames with shadow. I just felt that i am always person who is too quiet that i called myself shadow.
But this full nickname means like actually shadow whats in mind. Like real me what i have hided. -

My mother called me ''Hide-chan'' when i was a child and my irl name is Hideto so i shortn it to 'Hide' when i grown older but there was an other musican being called 'Hideto' and they also called him 'Hide' i don't wanted to have the same name in the same buisness so i changed the 'i' in the name to 'Hyde' it's my irl name ;) just going to have the same name as username being simple for me ~ I don't need to hide behind some other username
because i really feeling good with my name :+1:
as the other 'Hide' died i don't changed my name back to 'Hide' and became familar with 'Hyde' time by time ^___^私はへの夢を追いかけます
