    Ok so basically,

I never learned how to pay taxes , I never was taught how to take care of my health but i know how Henry the VIII killed his women , I know that mitochondria is powerhouse of the cell yet , i don't know sh!t about human rights [there's 30 , none of them was ever taught in my school] , Nobody taught me the law except myself , because x = (-b ± √b² – 4ac)/2a was more important , don't know how to deal with mortgage , but I was having migraines from learning "Mental Math" because you won't have a calculator with you 24/7 , never was taught how to help my depressed friend with his depression , but i'm "glad" that i know when the Great Fire of London was instead of that , I wasn't taught how to recognize strokes, Mais oui, je parle un peu de Francais , this is the "quality education" we "need" , without which we "can't live" , but is it really? , is the government retarded?

  • @JessicaGrant TO ADMIN PRESIDENT!

I always felt like school was shit, you are graduated with practical skills, but you are forced to learn human skills on your own!

  • @WtfAlexa no we don't

  • @JessicaGrant i agree with you to a great extent.

  • @Rendezvous explain yourself , if you finna give me critisism , you better make it accurate or it's useless , so yeah "aRe YoU rEtArDeD oR wHaT?"

  • @JessicaGrant maybe, he would say that schools are meant to prepare you for life academically (maybe)

  • @Jeff9998 "school is the place where you are supposed to learn everything you will need in life" , we still use the ancient fucking scripts of education , everything has changed and so should school , and also the right to education is our human right if something i need constructive critisism of @Rendezvous , if he dissagrees i should propably know why , if he just think it's stupid without any reason , he's the one being stupid innit ?

  • Watch Anime Eyes

But here's the thing after conquering the things normal adults do ( taxes , bills , mortgages ) it basically means that you can learn for your self well obviously you're not gonna be walking down the street and come up with the quadratic formula and anyway even if we did learn stuff like that we would still have issues with our everyday lives

  • Gamers

@ArayaKayas , you completely missed the point , there are people who can't learn it themselves and that's not how it works , we should learn all that in school else it's pointless

  • @JessicaGrant i'm procrastinating so this is gonna be long as fûck, but here:

well first of all, they actually taught us how to do your personal finances (taxes, morgage, etc) in my economics class but I didn't listen to one bit of it :D
Had an option class about nutrition, self-care, how to deal with stress and all that shit, didn't take it.
A lot of the quality of education depends on the school itself :/

Human rights are pretty much basic knowledge, but just for fun imma paste the simplified version here:

    1. We Are All Born Free & Equal. We are all born free. We all have our own thoughts and ideas. We should all be treated in the same way.

    2. Don’t Discriminate. These rights belong to everybody, whatever our differences.

    3. The Right to Life. We all have the right to life, and to live in freedom and safety.

    4. No Slavery. Nobody has any right to make us a slave. We cannot make anyone our slave.

    5. No Torture. Nobody has any right to hurt us or to torture us.

    6. You Have Rights No Matter Where You Go. I am a person just like you!

    7. We’re All Equal Before the Law. The law is the same for everyone. It must treat us all fairly.

    8. Your Human Rights Are Protected by Law. We can all ask for the law to help us when we are not treated fairly.

    9. No Unfair Detainment. Nobody has the right to put us in prison without good reason and keep us there, or to send us away from our country.

    10. The Right to Trial. If we are put on trial this should be in public. The people who try us should not let anyone tell them what to do.

    11. We’re Always Innocent Till Proven Guilty. Nobody should be blamed for doing something until it is proven. When people say we did a bad thing we have the right to show it is not true.

    12. The Right to Privacy. Nobody should try to harm our good name. Nobody has the right to come into our home, open our letters, or bother us or our family without a good reason.

    13. Freedom to Move. We all have the right to go where we want in our own country and to travel as we wish.

    14. The Right to Seek a Safe Place to Live. If we are frightened of being badly treated in our own country, we all have the right to run away to another country to be safe.

    15. Right to a Nationality. We all have the right to belong to a country.

    16. Marriage and Family. Every grown-up has the right to marry and have a family if they want to. Men and women have the same rights when they are married, and when they are separated.

    17. The Right to Your Own Things. Everyone has the right to own things or share them. Nobody should take our things from us without a good reason.

    18. Freedom of Thought. We all have the right to believe in what we want to believe, to have a religion, or to change it if we want.

    19. Freedom of Expression. We all have the right to make up our own minds, to think what we like, to say what we think, and to share our ideas with other people.

    20. The Right to Public Assembly. We all have the right to meet our friends and to work together in peace to defend our rights. Nobody can make us join a group if we don’t want to.

    21. The Right to Democracy. We all have the right to take part in the government of our country. Every grown-up should be allowed to choose their own leaders.

    22. Social Security. We all have the right to affordable housing, medicine, education, and childcare, enough money to live on and medical help if we are ill or old.

    23. Workers’ Rights. Every grown-up has the right to do a job, to a fair wage for their work, and to join a trade union.

    24. The Right to Play. We all have the right to rest from work and to relax.

    25. Food and Shelter for All. We all have the right to a good life. Mothers and children, people who are old, unemployed or disabled, and all people have the right to be cared for.

    26. The Right to Education. Education is a right. Primary school should be free. We should learn about the United Nations and how to get on with others. Our parents can choose what we learn.

    27. Copyright. Copyright is a special law that protects one’s own artistic creations and writings; others cannot make copies without permission. We all have the right to our own way of life and to enjoy the good things that art, science and learning bring.

    28. A Fair and Free World. There must be proper order so we can all enjoy rights and freedoms in our own country and all over the world.

    29. Responsibility. We have a duty to other people, and we should protect their rights and freedoms.

    30. No One Can Take Away Your Human Rights.

But basically I agree that school has missed out on a lot of the knoledge that would have been usefull in our every day life, but school is mostly there to teach us the basic. If you want to know your human rights, look em up, taxes can be taught by family members or once again: google. The law is all out there on the web, mental math is kinda the basic..
All in all sure, school is a pain in the ass and most of this shit i'm never gonna use irl and is frustrating to learn, but i'm also glad for all I know and it allowed me to figure out what I was passionate about 🤷‍♀️

  • @WtfAlexa The point is to avoid google , if we depend on it we’re doomed , not everyone has access to that and most educational systems don’t even have economy , we should change

why don'T we get everyone to have access to google instead? 🤔

  • @WtfAlexa yeah but that still wouldn’t help , people don’t know even what they will need to know , if school won’t do it, nothing will

  • Freedom Writers

@JessicaGrant Oh boi.... people are really screwed up, plus WHY TF DO YOU NEED CALCULUS FOR CS???? ahem okay, so, when I see things as this, it seems to me that these peeps only care about money or getting the "job" done ASAP and nothing else, so that means you don't have to know how to save someone's life or your own and just learn how to make money instead. It's so depressing to realize what this species has come to, but they need someone to knock some sense into their heads. And as @WtfAlexa , Judith says, you need schools to know about which field you'd want to pursue, as it gives you a taste of all (or most) there is. But I feel that which the educational system lacks is that, they don't allow you to think on your own and come up with not-so-conventional solutions, no matter if it's right or wrong. They don't allow you to learn from your mistakes and experiences. They try to cut off your creativity (in my experience, comment if its true for you as well :)) ), and make you follow the same path as others did and still do. Which may be right or wrong, doesn't matter.

    To summarise,

They don't allow you to think and act on your own.

    Peace! :))

  • @JessicaGrant lol do i really need to waste my time on something that stupid?
