@BloodDrunk The first thing that I do in the morning is pick the most comfortable clothes to wear for the day. The next think I do is the most important. I put the toothpaste on the toothbrush to brush the teeth that I have. The next thing I do is pick the brush up I have and brush my hair so the hair is nice and smooth. The End. 13 the's idk how I did... haha.

Is it always the best policy?Personally, it's part and parcel of who I am. Like lots of us I spent a percentage of my time growing up being dishonest.
Lucky for me by the time I was 14/15 I learnt that living lies was not worth it. It often tended to cause more harm than good.What do you think?
How do you live your life?

The famous saying of all time. Honesty is the best policy means being honest and true all through the life even in bad situation ..I dunno if this Is really practice or just damn dead saying especially in this modern world..
All I know that an honest person is always happy and peaceful because he/she does not have to live in guilt..
Being a liar may lose privelege of being a trusthworthy person. Saying the truth help strengthen our character regardless of how others define us..

I often find that being honest has caused me trouble. lol Especially in this modern world. Still doesn't stop me from speaking my mind and speaking honesty.
Although I do think there is something to be said for the art of being 'tact-full'

As I'm growing up I'm realising how stupid i was about a lot of things. I realized i just gotta be myself, ppl are gonna call u names anyway. To me being honest is being free. It seems like the right way to be. Like @Bela said it gives me peace of mind
The reason i like being on TWS is that i can be myself here. Feels easier to express everything somehow. -

The reason i like being on TWS is that i can be myself here. Feels easier to express everything somehow.That Ms. is good to hear. I think your right about this place. Even for the less socially capable this is a good place to be open, to be free .
One of the reasons I chose the path of honesty was due to some of my childhood. Way to much pain and hurt to those around me. But if I hadn't been that way, I wouldn't be the person I am today.

@mr-peanut i agree, I've done a few bad things when i was a kid, i was under my bestfriends influence, id only one friend and didn't wanna lose her, to her happy id do whatever she wanted if i said no she'd sulk n not talk and would be very painful 😅 later as i grew up i realized what she was doin and i learned to say no to such things. Better not to have a friend than havin one like this i thought.
Life is the biggest bitch and also a great teacher, she makes u go thru all that so u know the difference -

I always, always ALWAYS prefer honesty, over a sugar coated lie. But that's my opinion. I prefer to be brutally hurt with the truth then to live in ignorance. They say ignorance is bliss? Fuck that, ignorance is stupidity. You gotta learn to deal with what life throws at you.
But I am also not heartless and I try to dose the truth, depending on who i'm dealing with. I certainly don't wanna hurt the ppl i'm talking with, but I will always give them the truth, but I'll try to be nice enough when i'm doing it.In the end truth is ALWAYS my policy! :v:

As I mentioned about being tackful, there are always ways of being honest while trying not to be hurtful.
I think this comes from experience of time and different situations. -

I am honest but not all the time. When other person is dishonest, I can be dishonest with him. -
@bela honesty is the best policy but Not always. It depends on what the situation demands, you cannot always be honest about the things you do or did. Sometimes it might even get you into trouble.

@bela If the situation demands that you don’t be honest, think of the consequences of your dishonesty.
- Though we may loss for being honest, always listen what your heart say.
- Your brain is a egocentric where as your heart say to be a human which differentiate one from an animal.

@DayShifter Honest is the way to be, however there is also discretion. Discretionary honestly and how when to apply it in social situations is a valuable skill.
