@Thales_BG the central character has like 8 inch long thumbs which she uses to hitchhike.amongst other things. It's a crazy old hippy novel about philosophy, the human condition,spirituality, sex, all sorts of stuff. It's also pretty funny

@AppleScruff oh fuck yeah Apple, love both bands, so hard to pick favourites as they both have so many great songs but I'll try, beatles- help, revolution, yer blues, ticket to ride, i saw her standing there. Stones- time is on my side, pretty much the whole sticky fingers album, both have too many to mention. Oasis easily live forever ,green day, the hidden track at the end of the dookie album. Haha, if you start me talking about music it's hard to shut me up

@Sweet-Skylines86 that is some of the best and most honest advice I've ever seen, should be mandatory in schools. I will however say men have suffered from women's monthlys almost as much, do you realise how insane and unreasonable you become? I used to say to my partner I'll see you when you're back on the planet 😊

@Indrid-Cold never read it either, just always figured it must be boring as fuck, a book that long about trying to find a whale and then finding a whale. How much is there you can say about that? Reckon I'd lose interest and write my own novella, captain ahab and the whale just go toe to toe (flipper, whatever) like real men (whales)

@Matt_Aranha good to know you're hungry again. Was it the heat here that killed it? It's been hot the last 2 days. So, pancakes, combo of gden syrup, lemon juice, brown sugar etc or leek, cheese, cream and bacon sauce? I can never decide which is why i always make tonnes of pancakes and do both 😁
