A fish

I wanna be a fish.
I wanna learn to swim
and not be afraid of drowning.
I wanna dip my face in the water,
stay there for hours,
perhaps days, and no one will know
that salty tears and salty water
are a good combination.
I wanna exhibit a talent.
I wanna show how flopping fins
is nothing but art.
I wanna know if I’ve made them happy
if I become a fish
that is not lazy, eyes always open
and never stops moving.
I hope I was a fish.

A Gay

I wanna be more gay.
I wanna be better in LGBTs way
and not be afraid of homophobia.
I wanna dip my face in the gays,
stay gay for ours.
Perhaps only Gays, and no one will know
that pervy homo and pervy bi
are a gay combination.
I wanna exhibit gayness.
I wanna show how gay parades
is nothing but gay.
I wanna know if I’ve made them gay
if I become the homosexual's way
that is not straight, zippers always open
and never stops gay parades.
I wish I was more gay.

It's an interesting poem, I enjoyed it. There are few stark ironies that stick out to me. Never have I seen something more afraid of drowning than a fish, flailing about on dry land. And also how unremarkable most fish really are when next to another, not really displaying any talents to set them apart, literally in droves of like fish. How lucky I am to not be a fish, how much more I could be.

Anyway, just what I thought along with your thoughts. Nice poem.
