• I am a glass of water.
Am I half full or empty?
I believe that I am just a cup holding a beverage, but most of society finds it a hard question to judge my appearance.
Some say I am half full, while others say I am half empty.
It all depends on your outlook on life.
All in all it is just a simple cup full of simple water, but it shows everybody's true colors just by glancing and assumeing whether I am full or not.
The clear calm water sits there waiting for someone to drink it. In a clear glass.
    Transparent.
So simple, but still so complex.

  • @abby-83 the last line is a summery of the poem, I hope to see you do that again in the future.

  • How do one writes a poem? any rules? does it need to rhyme?

How does one become a poet? (not that i'm interested, just curious)

Is there still room for poetry in today's world?, in your own words
or is it like music? it will never die.

How old were you Abby.83, when you wrote your first poem?.

  • @gybon-blaklok just start writing whatever you feel like is how you start. There's always room for expression.

  • @us-poet

So poems are like works of art, except you express yourself with words.

PS. everyone?...you must have one helluva unicorn there :)
