The girl with the dragon tattoo -
why you should read it?
The book was originally gonna be called 'Men who hate women'. I've read a lot of thrillers but this book is my first thriller/mystery book where there are good female characters.
Granted the first 100 pages of the book are torture, once you get hooked in, you won't be able to put the book down. -
@thestrangest you mean 1984? Well, it's true that it's not as much philosophy, as it is explaining an ideology that has been put to the extreme. However, one concept that is at least alittle bit "philosophic" (even if a little overplayed) is how knoledge is the biggest weapon. Also how hate is predominant in the world and all that stuff. But the 3 musketeers sure as shit ain't philosophy, brotha.

No

Read your own reply, you said the 3 Marketeers or The Count of Monte-cristo are philosophical and even 1984 isn't really philosophically, more of a political novel but sure it does have philosophical sides
Well, it's true that it's not as much philosophy, as it is explaining an ideology that has been put to the extreme
Yeah
Ohhhhhhhhhh, i read it as "if you do'NT like philosophy", i misread that as if you DO like philosophy. Sorry my bad

@thestrangest no worries. We cool as ice
