@emily by the way. You can do what i did woth @Muslim. Go get your quran and search for the verses and read them by yourself so that you realise that they are actually in the quran and that we aren't making it up. Unfortunately after @Muslim did that he just cald me names and tried to justify homophobia, sexism... i hope that you don't do that.
P.S. I'm an ex-muslim and the best thing that happened to me is stopping believe in those horrible things written in the quran so don't begin to have cognitive distenence when you read the verses please -

This is wrong! There IS NOT VERSE which says that anywhere!
Adultery , rape, suicide and ALL BAD things are forbidden in islam. Use common sense. Those people who do terrorist attacks and do sucide ARE NOT MUSLIMS at all! Islam forbids Suicide!

it says strike them out of your house if they disobey you. It does not instruct to stirke them or beat them. The guys have have made the english translation have used the wrong words.See this and read misconception here: http://www.quran-islam.org/articles/beating_women_(P1179).html

In the quran it doesn't have "(slightly)" written. How do i know this? Because i have a quran in my hand right now, lol.

The quran which you have in your hand is again transalted in english by normal humans like you who can make mistakes. I told you clearly its wrong word used while translation, read the conclusion ending paragraph before making judgements.

@Emily there is no point in talking with him . he know the quran more than u do .but he chose not to follow . i tried with him before now we are out of the context of the topic ... he will alway tell you about bittin women and homos and kill the non believer. i want you to know that :
1 - there is nothing about homo sexuality in quran.
2 - we was told to kill the unbelievers cuz they use to kill and slave muslim .so w've been giving the order to defend our self ... that law was active back then we it was war time and its not now ... its forbidden to hurt any human and he know so.
