@petrapark3r When I was a kid I wanted to be an actress or talk show host, anything that would make me famous and make people know my name!
Now, Im a lot smarter and I know a job like that is a lot worse than I would like it to be.

Yeah, it has a few perks, like that people are making you expensive gifts all the time and you don't pay for you stuff anymore... But apart from that it actually seems to suck a lot to be famous :joy:

So my dream job would be to rule the world and make it a better place hehe 😈

Muahahaha, let's rule the world together then. I'll watch your back

Truthfully, I don't know what my dream job is anymore.

You'll figure it out soon :)

  • As a kid I wanted to either be a Professional wrestler, or a Martial Artist, but as I get older I am disturbed more, and more by violence, so to be honest if I could choose I would have the ability to cast out demons for God's own will. A job for him, and the reward wouldn't be money, or even recognition, just more peace with those around me. I would need to have the ability to do it with sure success though.

  • @petrapark3r

When I was younger I really wanted to be a doctor or lawyer just because television made it seem so cool. But as I got older I realised my true passion was fitness ! So that’s the path I’m going down now 😃!!

    What about yourself ?

  • @petrapark3r

    Don't architects make 'nough money?

  • @petrapark3r donno . I believe not any profession can make money more than business do

  • Honestly I've never really been one for ambition or dreams sadly, but I do hope one day to be of use to people

  • Travel show host where I can travel around the world for free and they covered all the expenses but I still get paid. 😂

Thats a joke if youre comparing it to other professions. People from finance and healthcare earn the most imo. I did not say businessmen bcos they dont have a salary! isnt that cool...

  • @Sup
    clap
    yeah totally cool

  • @petrapark3r when I was a kid, I didn't know that I could become an adult. I don't have an idea that this is how life works.

    and now?

  • @petrapark3r and now, I'm in the pursuit of happiness.

  • @petrapark3r I suppose although I try and separate desire and ambition, ambition being something you are strongly acclimated towards, something that you well work your ads off to achieve, while I desire is a wish, a want, and nothing more

  • @petrapark3r said in Tell me about your dream job...:

As a negative example, one might say "I want to rule the world and make it a better place". But being a dictator (that's what this is...) means you'll have to look over your shoulder each and every day, for the next guy who does not agree with your policy and thinks he'd do a better job.

You make an interesting point here, PP. There's a cool Twilight Zone episode where Fidel Castro (played weirdly well by Peter 'Columbo' Falk) finds a magic mirror in an annexed government palace, which is forever showing his mates trying to assassinate him, and he just ends up going NUTS.

Me, I always thought I'd be the best benevolent dictator for one reason alone. Most people criticize politicians by saying, 'oh he's only doing these good things because he's got a massive ego (Trump), he's a career politician (Bozjoz), or he's got a messiah complex (B.Liar), he's just about class nepotism (Thatcher). And those accusations are always true, with the odd exception (Mandela).

I've often thought, what these lads forget is that it's a hell of a thing to be supreme leader. I'd remove all the stoopid, traditional motivations for being a politician by doing the following.

I'd give myself a ten year term. I'd institute a couple of very common-sensical decrees. The throwing of money at the NHS and the reverence of doctors so that all children want to train to be hospital staff. The building of cheap houses to cover the needs of the population for decades to come, plus some extra. The amalgamation of the army and the police, basically so that the concept of a Police Force even exists in Britain again. A manufacturing and agricultural base that would be, not necessarily isolationism or self-sufficiency, but giving enough of a safety margin that there'd be no more recessions ever.

And after the ten years, I'd hold a press conference and say, "Right. If anyone thinks I haven't done a good job, that's fair enough, I WILL COMMIT SUICIDE HERE AND NOW". And because there's always a good number of people who hate common sense, they'd say DO IT, and I would then EAT a hand grenade live on TV and EXPLODE in a big Jackson Pollock of blood and intestines, but obviously it would be worth it just for someone ...just once ...just one single time running a country in a sane, practical, unconceited way.
