How long do our loved ones stay around after they pass over? Do they visit at once and briefly before moving on for good,or do they take many years to get used their new homes before they are ready to see us again?

  • Any idea?

  • @cjko
If a spirit is lost and cannot go to any place (moving on), it can stay here indefinitely until they are "redeemed".

  • @Karina-Kara hmm.. I have read this interesting book about supernatural events in our lives.
It's a collection of true stories; people experiencing those phenomena.

    Do you believe in spirits?

  • @cjko
No need for any kind of belief or religion if you know the truth.

  • @Karina-Kara yeah..
Have you experienced weird things with ghost or unknown creature once in your life ?

  • @cjko
    Many times.
Modern, mainstream science thinks that it can explain anything with their undisputed "theories".
But the ancestors also had their "theories".
So one can only choose or try to figure it out on their own.

  • @Karina-Kara yeah.. it's really weird. Right ?

  • @cjko
I feel it depends upon the manner of their passing over.
If its an untimely, painful, young, dark, treacherous or mysterious death, then they're more likely to stick around for a longer period and watch the world burn. They're most likely to be the spirits that people fear and refer to as 'Ghosts'.
If its a timely or peaceful death, then they are more likely to be dispersed based on their deeds. Depending upon their place of afterlife residence, they're more likely to visit earlier or later or only when summoned. I personally believe a person dead on Earth is possibly reborn on some other planet in some other universe as a different specie.
Also, there are various different regional, cultural and mythological ways and beliefs and at the end of the day, it all depends upon the thinking ability and the beliefs of an individual. Afterall, our superior thinking ability is what makes us humane.

I agree. Have it ever crossed your mind that they live in the after life world and they were just around whenever you needed them? Some transformed into butterflies and robins. They need that special skills too to transform into something and able to watch over you. Whenever they like to come and connect with us in the real world , they need to know how to do it effectively. It's like they were in the deepest level of the deepest sea, we know we can go further than that to connect with them but our ability to do that hinders us. I dunno what I am talking.. kinda weird.

Well, as a matter of fact... I have seen the ancestors of some of my fellows being called upon in times of functions associated with goodness, happiness and longetivity like marriages. Its like that pre-crowning scene of Black Panther when the blessings of our ancestors are being seeked upon to let the things go smoothly.
Also, I have been brought-up in surroundings that believe in afterlife and then rebirth in the form of some other being on this earth. So basically they believe that there’s a cycle of rebirths that take place and you can be reborn in human form only after completing the cycle of being born in the form of every lifeform present on Planet Earth.
So as I said before, it all depends on what you believe in. I listened, learned, adapted, improvised and came up with beliefs of my own. It ain’t necessarily true but they are mine and they’re based on my learnings. It is open to changes as and when new facts comes up and more knowledge is gained.

  • @Wolfie_11 you wowed me with this. I bet you are surrounded with good people.. Are you that religious? Just asking.

  • @cjko
    Well ironically, I’m an Atheist.
I said I have grown up among such people and watched various rituals being performed. Doesn’t really mean that I believe in them. What are rituals to them is a story in a visual form for me. If I like it, I keep it in my archives. Afterall, there’s nothing bad in taking cues and views of other people. Isn’t that what we do here as well?

    I have nothing against that.

I agree.. we came from diverse cultures and different upbringing. We differ in a lot of things, we don't believe in the same values and beliefs yet we can still connect because we respect each users here.
