How to be a good student?
-
I think a good student who's will never doubt its teacher. Think as teacher said to it. And then think as own his way. Good some question to ask teacher.
But what if there is no teacher? Like learning from internet. good sources out there too . Forums for almost anything. Forums r good. And YouTube tutorials.
What u think about it? Is there any other way to be good student ?
(ps. Not good student as in scoring more marks in exam. Good student like understanding well what it is learning) -
im confused

@Gennyyy just tell how to be a good student/Learner

I don't think the teacher is always right. I think thinking for yourself is much more valuable and ofcourse you take in the knowledge of the teacher and you learn from them. But you also question them and think for yourself and do your own research.. I have more than once discovered that teachers gave wrong information and debated them on it, I want to know their side and how they got to their information and I want to come to a conclusion from that, not just believe everything that is said to me.... I do think most teacher do have more knowledge on the subject than me, they are after all teachers, so yes, learning from their knowledge is very valuable as well... But I don't just take everything as the truth and I do my own research or I look at the way they researched and came to their conclusions to take my own conclusions from that....
In conclusion I think a good student is eager to learn, is humble enough to learn from the knowledge of others, is curious in a good way but also thinks critical and does research of their own...

@Eucalyptus
In process of asking questions, it is not just student is learn . The teacher is learning too. And make himself better for other student. So eventually good student can make good teacher by giving his feedback in form of questions or queries. -

@Ash33 I do not understand the concept of teacher and student, guru and deciple.. sometimes it's vice versa.. now I ask you so you know how to be a good being?? Human I guess ??
-
@Ash33
i think that a good teacher should act as a guide/mentor to their students. i'm not really a fan of teachers who act like they're omniscient, or think that their way of teaching is the only way. a good teacher should be someone you actually respect & enjoy listening to.also, a good student should have lots of curiosity for whatever it is that they're trying to learn. curiosity is the first step to learning anything, really.

@knownsense
This topic is for. How can one (student) can learn a lot and understand (in less time). The term teacher is not limited to just humans. It could be anything. Books, nature, articles, a page in wikipedia or YouTube tutorial.
I should have more specific while making the topic . My bad 😅 -
@sarah_the_magpie
Yeah curiosity is one of qualities of a good student -
@Ash33 Pay attention, asking doubts, writing, reading, studying and stop being a class clown... a classroom in any form whether on shcool, campus or online
