@Vicious-Retard The most interesting part of this investigation, in my eyes, was the way the brother acted. His behaviour, even with ignoring alleged accounts of past psychotic behaviour towards his sister, was abnormal to say the least. If we put the young boy at the culprits place, it would appear that everything is falling into place - from the parents' conflicting state of genuine grief and guilty body language - to the sloppily staged kidnapping and the ransom note - to the parents hindering a proper investigation.
What I cannot form a conclusion about is whether the child was sexually abused. The reports seem to have conflicting information about the matter. And if she indeed was, did the brother do it? This leads to the second crucial unsolved problem in the case - the mental state of the boy. If the theory of him being the cause of Jonbenet's tragedy is true, then did he intend it? Was he in a state of being capable of intention?
Perhaps it was a pedophile who knew the Ramseys and forces Patsy to write a note as a red herring or even more, sinister is that the killer was well connected and used the threat of blackmail to incentive the Ramseys' to cover up the brutal murder of their six-year-old daughter . Perhaps someone connected with the family.
