Well, a lie is bad and believing a comforting lie is worse. I usually don’t trust what anyone says unless I hear it from 5 other people but, if I did believe a comforting lie, it would just cause more pain than a regular lie. Knowing the uncomfortable truth of the world...well, I haven’t experienced it yet 😂

@Mr-Ghost - I already know enough uncomfortable truths of the world and I’m sure there’s soooo much more. The world can be a cruel and ugly place inter dispersed with occasional kindness and beauty. I wouldn’t want to believe a comforting lie. I want the truth so I can act as needed and appropriately for the situation. Some people like The Land of Denial but I do not. I want the truth.

that sounds uncomfortable aye.

But dont look at the old forever retired rich people like they have it better. if they really retired at 30 they spent 30 years of their life in a completely meaningless fashion. Those might be the poorest souls you see on your trip to london...
