• Different. Of course I cannot prove this since there are no IQ tests for babies :joy:. But from age 6 upwards IQ can be measured reliably. Fact is children's IQs are all different, some are slower to develop, some are faster.

    When they have grown up however all environmental factors on IQ disappear, and the only variable influencing higher IQ is genetics. It's in the genes.

    But the truth of the matter is, even though IQ cannot be increased permanently over what your genes allow, it can be decreased enormously. The single biggest factor seems to be nourishment (food) during childhood, the earlier, the greater the impact.

    And apart from growing up healthily, there is only one thing that keeps you smart: Physical exercise. You heard right. Your muscles keep your intellect sharp. This is no joke. So if you think you're smart and look down on all the people who value sports, think again. You won't be smarter than them forever :joy:
