What kind of depression do I have, and how do i fix it?

  • The past year or so i have been feeling an EXTREMELY overwhelming feeling of sadness..
not sure how to explain but i'll try, i have learned that it is ok to be sad, angry, tired sometimes but i feel like the way i have been feeling its multiplied by 100, random moments i'll feel sooo upset to the point i wanna go in a corner and scream and kick and shout and cry and idk why, i'll wake up thinking hey im gonna have a good day today and do blah blah blah, but theres a second thought automatically in my head....dreams only happens in movies...why even try and so on and so forth
its very obvious i have depression but idk how bad... im gonna say im always upset about myself because of the multiple problems i have i tend to over think over thinking and i get upset because of that, i dont know what is right and what is wong much like tryna figure out myself as well....any help?

  • @randomcitizen123 I couldn't tell you what type of depression you have, but what I can say is this:
If you don't put yourself out in the world things will never change. It's all to easy to become comfortable with low mood. Once this happens it starts to rub off on those around you. Then people start to distance themselves. You see a bad mood and negative persona bleeds from you on to others.
One way of starting to change how you feel is to try new things. Your probably gonna say, "oh but I don't want to" or, "I can't be bothered" but that's the depression controling your mind set. The onlu way to break that is by being active in trying to change it.
I mean, what's the worst that could happen in trying something new???
you don't like it? you find it hard? or maybe you even make a new friend or two?... Oh and you gain some experience to.
I know it's not an easy thing to do, but give it a go, you never know you might find something you never considered and actually enjoy it 😉

  • @randomcitizen123 Damn I hope you're ok; there's not much that I know about this topic but I've kinda been through this too. My point is that every type of depression is bad. Some could be more depressed than others but y'all deserve to get help so yh.

  • @randomcitizen123 I've literally been trying to figure out how to describe how I have been feeling for a while and when I read this, I just felt like wow its like you took the words right out of my mouth.

  • @nataliej98 sloppily?

  • @junbug what's your problem?

  • @junbug people have a hard time trying to describe the shit that they feel okay. doesn't matter if its sloppy or whatever. okay

  • @randomcitizen123 I don't know how to fix depression, but you could start by fixing things you can fix, maybe fix your diet, exercise, get a meaningful job or find meaning in your job, help your neighbours, clean your house, wake up at the same time everyday. Basically get a routine and stick to it. Hopefully, you can fill your day up so there's no room for depressing feelings.
