@kaia_ yes i am ambivalent. On the one hand i dont want them to get off of my path and on the other the fact that they must make their own path. Enjoying the time I do get to have is the key. Make every moment in this life count.
What do you think about an open relationship?
-
An open relationship is when both partners agree that they each might have sexual relationships with others. Basically, you can be cheated on, but it's not technically cheating, and you have to go along with it.
-
I wouldn't like to be in one, but if the partners don't have a problem with that, then why not
-
@wojta Why wouldn't you like to be in one?
-
@layla because when I'm in a relationship, the other person should be loyal to me and if she is happy with being with me, then I don't see why she would want to have sexual relations with others - at least that's my way of thinking about relationships
-
@wojta Yeah. Like being in an open relationship is the same thing as not being in a relationship.
-
@layla it might be good if you wanna explore new things, but both have to be cautious about not falling for some one else.. And it shouldnt be for too long
-
@layla I think you should only have an open relationship if you both have commitment issues
-
I knew a married couple who tried it and unfortunately they got divorced. The wife connected with another guy and left her husband. The husband found another woman who he really liked and is with her now. If someone is thinking about having an open relationship they need to be direct and clear as to why and what they expect. Could be a million different reasons, but once it is out they can go from there.
-
@layla i want an open relationship
-
@layla What the fuck? WHat's the point of even being "someone's" if you're gonna let your partner be destroyed and god knows what by somebody else
-
@cheesecake-lesb I agree

I'm the jealous kind, I ended up trying to date an escort who had visited once (she called me later chatted etc etc) asked he out, I told her no said either ild have to have no feelings involved at all and then there is no point or ild end up getting jealous and fucking it up. She ended up convincing me to give it a go and I decided fuck it why not, we got on great so eh, no risk no return
and the expected happened after about 3 months, I got that "this ain't cool" feeling and ended it. She was disappointed but ok about it because it was likely to happen. She stop working and hmu but I try to never go backwards in life so I had to pass. Hope she's doing great now days -
I could never really care about my mate and be in one
