@a-wise-man-once If there's one thing I hate, it's things that are meaningless.
This is what happens when a black hole swallows a star

@nicksthename yea i know loop quantum gravity is the only thing that brought results for this black hole problem, we hope there could be more research but we don't have any previous resources for any reference, we don't know how close we are but I'm damn sure it's a beginning and there's long way to go.
Thanks for bringing loop quantum gravity in this talk.
Honestly I'm only into quantum mechanics so for loop quantum gravity i need to educate myself more and i hope I'll. -
@INFINITY yes it's fascinating and the beauty it holds attracts us, bcz we are part of it mysteriously, and keeping ourselves away from it isn't fair. More or less we all wonder about that.
Those are very encouraging infinity, wish you achieve your infinity. -
@Bill-Dhivid Heh thenk~
You too~ -
no one heard about leonhard susskind isnt it?
-
@anythingwhatever One of the father's of string theory. Famous theoretical physicist.
-
@Bill-Dhivid Abosolutely dude..correct
-
@anythingwhatever anything new about him?
-
he had waged the black hole wars against stephen hawking..which forced hawking to change his mind about the existence of black holes
-
@anythingwhatever but this weird thing is still there.
-
@Bill-Dhivid the universe is insanely exciting..and we can only see about 20% of the known universe..yet its amazing
-
@anythingwhatever not sure if it's 20%, can't really say how much
-
@Bill-Dhivid yeah approx 20%
-
@Bill-Dhivid and maybe there are multi verses...
-
@kaia_ quite correct..and funny as well

@nightshifter said in This is what happens when a black hole swallows a star:
Where do things go once they enter a black hole?
they stay there :joy:, that's why it gets heavier and heavier.
people are coming up with all kinds of strange dimension and time warping theories and whatever inside a black hole. But I personally am of the opinion that the mathematical theories we have (e.g. relativity) simply fail, because the edge case (black hole) is not covered by them. I simply think that matter is compressed in there like liquid. Nothing else happens. Boring, super-heavy black balls is what they are. However galaxies revolve around them, so that's a plus :joy:

@Bill-Dhivid Ghad dam* that made my jaw drop :o <3 it looks beautiful and terrifying at the same time just thinking how small we all are :o
-
@I-G-izoolivia right, comparatively physically we are tinier than tiny .
-
Black holes stretch anything that dares to come too close.
