• Boring part of the question: Do you do any sports? Do you guys work out? Are you fit?

(Still boring part) Or are you a couch potato?

    0_1544866064455_54012dcb62d93.image.jpg

Now for the second and interesting part: Why do you do the sport that you do or why are you a couch potato? What do you believe your choice of activity says about you?

Would you like to change it? If yes: why so?

  • @pe7erpark3r

I am a sports addict, I love going to the gym and playing tennis. It's kind of my escape from reality, where I can just let off some steam and "de-stress". It's a very important part of my life and I can't feel like I can't go on without that activity in my life or I will go nutz. Shape-wise, I won't comment about it as i'm someone that is never satisfied with his own accomplishments, but ppl told me I'm fit, even tho that I can strive for more!
So yeah, think this paragraph covered both of your questions :D

Great answer yes, that indeed reveals an interesting bit of who you are

  • I love sports. I play high school baseball, I do powerlifting, and I used to run track and play basketball. They're fun and it keeps me in shape. I get out of my comfort zone and actually talk to people , I make more friends, etc

  • Sports and gym addict! I do swim and track & field, and lift most nights :muscle: it's fun, helps destress and lets you intimidate guys  hella

  • I was hoping that not just the super sporty people would participate. But ha, what do you know. I'm not a super sporty person. Actually have been more of a couch potato most of my life. The reason for that is mostly that I am an introvert and with every kind of sport you meet with ppl.

I never really wanted to change that because whenever I thought about changing I judged myself because in the end I only wanted it to look better. I mean I knew it's also to be more healthy but that idea just didn't motivate me.

In the recent years however I decided that I wanted to change my life – because I definitely needed a change (and I'm talking overall not the couch potato thing). And thus I decided that I'd start working out even though I definitely don't enjoy doing it and I still judge myself for thinking about looking better.

  • @pe7erpark3r

I dont think there is anything wrong with wanting to look better, it helps people with lack of self-esteem and how fast you age. It's kinda crazy but I feel alot younger now that I am 28 yo then when I was 21 (my time of graduation and the worst peak of my shape) so not only it helps with our self-esteem but also feeling younger/preventing aging. At the end of the day if we don't love ourselves who will? (I wish I could force this thoughts into my mind :p)

    I hear ya.

I started to realize too that there really is nothing wrong with being attractive or rather with growing to your full potential, physically and mentally. After all doesn't your girl deserve the best version of you, that you can be? And vice versa :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Also as it turns out physical exercise (cardio and strength) is the only thing we know of that slows down the natural decrease of IQ. Yeah folks we all really get dumber with every year, but those of us who work out, not in such a hurry.

  • @pe7erpark3r A couch potato Of course, for me sports is just like a buncha dudes playing with balls. I can do that by sitting at home for free :D

I am so glad you brought that up, I almost forgot to write about something free of charge: I found this method called "You are your own gym" by Mark Lauren, which basically is a load of exercises you can do at home without any training equipment. That's how I work out. The best thing about it is that you don't lose time driving to a gym or something. Apropos got to do that now :muscle:

  • @pe7erpark3r that's not what I- um ..nevermind.

  • Yo what up

    I am lazy af 😭😭😭

Great Post. I'll cheer for you becoming future kana :relaxed:.

No need though to compare yourself with such a sporting ace (even if that's yourself). If you want to make real progress only ever compare yourself to how you were yesterday and be a little better. You are only human, just like the rest of us. Being humble should become a trend, then the world would very soon become a better place.

Nothing wrong with high goals though. Aim high, but for measuring progress only look to yourself yesterday. While moving forward you will understand yourself and your goals better and might even change them. But you will always move forward.
