  • @Spoofer said in do you find people interesting over internet or irl ?:

@pe7erpark3r Do not fear of it being left unread, and followers are not truly important here, if you are friendly, you get plenty of them. Also, topics don't really need more participants, just a good topic, think of it as being a blog, all you would need is a good idea. And enough time haha.
The social networking would work, but in order to do so, you would have invite people rather than them finding the community.

Thanks for the encouragement, I'll give it a try the next time I have nothing to do ;-)

  • @Kana I wish I could give that post 3 likes and not just one.

  • @Adyyan
I wrote this coz may be last time we talked, you wanted to ask such questions..
PEOPLE ARE AMAZING FOR NO MATTER THEY ARE

    1. Your enemy could be your good friends after da drama ✔
    2. Your good friend could be your enemy after da drama ✔
    3. You can be stright, gay even bi in the same time ✔
    4. You can pretend to be another person either in this website or real life ✔
    5. You can love someone you dont know better after you flirt/wink that person ✔
    6. You can be blind because of love ✔
    7. You can cheat on your gf/bf ✔
    8. You can be friend with all of people for whatever they are ✔

So? Do i find people interesting irl/online? Both. The only problem about online is you cant see them irl only, the rest aint big problem :3

@Adyyan I like people equally in both places (real life and virtual world).
But I do find that I am closer to people online.
Maybe this is because I am shy and hard to interact with people in the real world. It could also be that people online are better than in real life. Maybe its because I am in love with a girl on TWS..
Maybe nowadays people are addicted to the internet and living inn the virtual world, over real life?!

  • I like that movie with Kirsten Twilight, where she starts getting texts from a mysterious, charismatic, knowing stranger*. We all want intimacy, but then, the trouble is, some people get fussy and also want someone with the rich personality of, say, a 70's punk rocker, or an aloof soviet sniper, or a time traveller from the future. It ain't gonna happen. There's no interesting people left in the world.
*I didn't see the end of the film. I think it might've been Bigfoot texting her.

To be honest being a 70's punk rocker, a soviet sniper or a time traveller does not exactly make you interesting, at least not to me. The time traveller maybe but only because I would be interested in how it works, not because I'm interested in him. For me to find someone interesting they need to have character or an interesting insight into things that I don't have. Jordan Peterson I find interesting for example.

  • @Rendezvous ren why internet, ? :D

  • @Indrid-Cold cmon world ain't that bad yet to leave no interesting human beings at all ? we all want intimacy, excitement, The forbidden fruit, but not taking risks, not enough bravery and courage to uplift our self belief, @pe7erpark3r if we compare the previous generation with current one, i'd say today's Era has sensitively fearful soul, afraid of everything, and that " oh i am happy alone i just don't want to get hurt, talk about peace, alright peace is essential for human process to face day in day out, stability of mind, balance of life, healthiness, and all that, peace mean's also remaining in your comfortzone and don't really see the world outside of the embodied house we're in, the heart tracked just in a manner to negotiate within limits, staying grounded, not seeing the city-lights, the wonder of nights the street chaos the digitalis of coloring, the human interaction the swift swallowing of seasons, the nature, Architecture of mountains, flawless sky, i'm trying to quote light we miss by restricting ourselves from the bridging that might lead us to amazing outer space, people could be that remarkably joyous, bunch of creeps outlook whole world in our eyes, shows how trash world in upcoming ages coming to be.

  • @G-A you had good company all along through out life ? positivist shouting from your response, only person happy with every human interaction i've seen :joy: :joy:

  • Ive met interesting people over the internet that I’ve made good memories with that I think about daily. Same for irl friends. People do grow up and change (because I met them when I was 16) but it still was the best experience meeting my internet friends. I’ve never been that happy.
