Depends on what content it’s used, but I believe that over dramatizing whenever the word is used is giving power to it. If that makes sense? I mean if we saw it as any other word and weren’t so “scared” to use it in a non insulting way, then people would stop giving it so much importance and it won’t be seen as so “offensive”
