Happiness is just an emotion not a way of being. Happiness is something you have to work for most of the time. so people who are happy often have pursued happiness but that was most likely not their goal. Living a healthy fulfilling life is sort of the pursuit of happiness since it usually leads to a lot of happiness. Therefore only those who pursue it regardless if that was there original intention (for example just taking care of themselves) will be happy.

Lackadaisical fits me well. I do things not because i want to, but because i have to.

@Shardana Quite enlightening , frankly i agree with you coz expectation in my views should be a fine line on which we should walk like high or no expectations ruins the relationship. Moreover i like the idea of 2 poles and i think your soulmate are those who poles resonate with you . Anyways thanks for your opinion
