At what age should “kids” move out? 🏠
-
@WtfJudith 14
-
@Cybercore that's too early xD
-
@Seki33 that's when I moved out, vro
-
@Cybercore no way. R u run away kid ?
-
I used to be. I'm an adult now
-
@Cybercore damn. Life must be hard
-
Never! unless there's a job opportunity or if you wanna continue your studies. And once it's all sorted, you live together till the end.

@WtfJudith while most of Latinoamérican families aren't traditional, we prefer to stay with the family as long as we can afford it. Sons or daughters sometimes move out when they get married, steal a woman, or have a baby; however, they can also just stay at their parent's despite the situation and it won't be seen in a negative way (unless they're parasitic), despite making another family xD However, there's also youth who is tryna copy the North American way, distancing from family early, but this is not so frequent.

@Seki33 also known as "eloping"; sounds like non-con, but actually they elope willingly, "stealing" just makes it sound more dramatic.
-
@DaNii omg . I heard this term before too. A pornstar I like used it. She married to her bf. Now I understand meaning of elope
-
@DaNii so it's like run away marriage

I personally don't really care what other people do as long as it doesn't affect me..
I moved out at 17, but if someone wants to live with their parents their whole live, that's their choice.. Sometimes it's for mutual benefit, sometimes it is so they can take care of their parents and sometimes it's just because they're lazy fucks that like to be mothered in their 40s :woman_shrugging_medium-light_skin_tone: -
@WtfJudith When they are ready enough some take more than others and need special care you can't just throw them out depending on their age ...

@WtfJudith i never wanted to answer this question. I think this is the time i shall answer.
Move out for kids when they are financially stable and "their parents" allow it. If you ask me, I am afford to buy an apartment in central Jakarta with all of my savings plus 1 car. However, i did not do that. I choose to stay in my parents house as they tell me, house is the safest place for their childrens to stay. It does not mean that i will stay here forever but it seems like they dont want me to go with several reasons. Plus i pay all of bills, operational expenses even some of miscellaneous costs. It is around 30% from my salary (that i usually spent in a month). The rest of salary? I save that ;) includes the money from project or side jobs.
Then, i keep those savings, waiting for the right time to buy a house or a medium Apartement that i can handle the house chores :) also, i am still afraid to sleep alone, somehow, sometimes, nightmare keeping me to awake all nights.
