Of course, our feelings change over time. Better not to give a promise when we are influenced by emotions or when we are not sure of keeping it.

@Steve-Flordia It's totally fine to reach the end of sth. Question remains if the reasons for it are mutually and amically agreed upon so no one feels guilty over the issue, or vice-versa depending from the points of heated contention.
