Sure, the one who loves me might be more reliable. Might not ever let me down. Be somebody who would do anything they can to fight for me, to have my back, to see that I don't get hurt - and to hold me when I do. But it isn't fair to let somebody love you when you don't reciprocate those feelings, nor would I want to live with the emptiness of knowing that there is "more" out there.

No, I want - and deserve - fireworks. Sparks. The dream. The fierceness, the intensity, the passion. And I would rather live with that reckless "jump-off-a-cliff" all-or-nothing love in my heart than without it, even if my partner did not feel the same about me. Even if it was painful, if it ended badly... life is for living, and without feeling that love, without living through the anguish of hurt for feelings unrequited, without the growth of soul that brings... there isn't much point to anything else.

Dont settle. Love hard, love true, and take that leap which scares you and makes no sense. It's what we are here for.
