And one way of interpreting it is alcohol doesn't solve or bring solution to your stress. Honestly, just look around you, unless you're Frank Gallagher getting drunk will never solve your stress lol. Im contrary, it worsen it. Nobody said to not drink, you can drink wine Reasonably and enjoy it the taste of someone else's hardwork flowing down your throat as you forget about your problems.
But don't get wasted and drunk, you're not helping yourself, you're just digging more holes, liver failure, cancer, heart attack, wretchedness all these!!! They come along with making it a habit and then a lifestyle of getting drunk to relieve stress.
