Sci-Fi Movies?...
-
Looking for overlooked Sci-Fi movies and TV shows.
From Abyss to Zathura drop a suggestion. -
@ScruffyMutt Two of my favourite sci-fi TV shows were Space: Above and Beyond, and Dark Skies.
-
Saw Space A&B, I'll check out Dark Skies
-
I enjoyed 'The 100' series quite a lot, and always suggest Event Horizon for a creepy Sci-fi movie.
-
@Neeko Event Horizon is wonderful! Haven't seen it for years but at the time was one of the scariest things I'd seen! 😂

Event horizon, the 100, inception- good suggestions.
Saw them all. -
Fifth Element - probably my all time favorite

I love Mila Jovavich!

EXTREME kudos for mentioning The Abyss, my second favourite film of all time (Don't believe me? Check out this post from yesteryear: https://chatrooms.talkwithstranger.com/post/213859 ). Space Above and Beyond, you're right, is also amazeballs -- I assumed that I was the only one who truly loved it because it reminded me of being a teenager, but I assume you're younger than me?
Beyond that, I dunno. I watched a cool sci-fi film on Talking Pictures the other night 'The Final Programme'. I liked it because it was nuts.
Oh and Zardoz. Zardoz ROCKS.
-
@Indrid-Cold I nearly mentioned The Abyss, I've not seen in for a couple of decades but remember always loving it growing up. I'm 38 so not too much age difference between us. Also yes, can't help but smile at Zardoz...

@Matt_Aranha Connery gives such good sci-fi, it almost makes me want to put down £0.50 at CEX and buy 'Outland'.

I have a list of a few that will really shock you! Especially if I told you that each and every one was attempting to rip-off Starwars. One in particular used tin foil as a special effect! hahahahahaha
