@NeptuN3 well its very tough to control.. try meditation or keep urself busy like in some hobby
What do you fear most?
-
being alone I guess.
because I'm not scared of dark or ghost or spider.
IDK HBU? -
@Desi , I like alone sometimes. It’s peaceful.
-
@nightshifter yeah sometimes but I might have no fear then ._.
-
Well, it was still a spider, so maybe if you look at other spiders with a cute intent, mby they will look cuter :joy:
For example... My mom as been bitten by a stray dog a few years ago, she LOVED dogs before and now she is kind of afraid of them even tho she still loves some of them. So her way of looking at dogs changed, not her feelings in a way :p -
@Zen00 Well, I don't think I have any kind of phobia or something, but I always fear that my actions or words would prolly hurt someone or disrupt their natural flow of life, is that a phobia or something? And, maybe I have the fear of getting betrayed sometimes, coz I can't trust people just like that
Peace! :))
-
@Kakashi , you should not trust people easily. Trust is earned over time, so no worries.
-
@Kakashi Your fear of hurting someone could be an acute form of OCD, but I'm not a psychologist. I just got this off of studies 😂
Also, Pistanthrophobia is the fear of trusting people. So if the thought of being close to someone and trusting them disturbs you, you might have a phobia after all c: -
@nightshifter I don't completely agree with this. Without trust its hard to build a relationship. I prefer to trust people until they give me a reason to do otherwise. I don't mean to give out my deepest secrets and pin number to the next person I meet, but I think its necessary to start a friendship with some form of trust to build off of. Otherwise, how is someone expected to earn trust, if its not there to begin with?
"A relationship without trust is like a car without gas. You can stay in it as long as you want, but it won't go anywhere."
-
@Zen00 I do have OCD tho xD
-
@Zen00 i think all animals and insects are cute.but just dont bother them much and they wont mind us too.lets just admire them!
-
@Zen00 im really bothered abt what happens after one die.judgement day...??😯
-
-
@Zen00 I share your fear of hurting others feelings and at the same time I fear being rejected. Both those fears make me fear getting close to others.
And I have lots of small fears. Or maybe I wouldn't call them fears even, they are just momentary things. I wonder if a general insecurity is a normal thing or if I'm especially insecure.
Also this topic has become alot about spiders which my brother fears like crazy so enjoy:
-
@Kakashi well there ya go!😂
-
@james-bond yeah man, nature is amazing and so are all it’s creatures! Everything has beauty in it if we just take the time to notice it:)
-
@james-bond thanatophobia- the fear of death
This is actually pretty common, since none of us truly know what will happen when we die -
@pe7erpark3r insecurity is very common and lately it’s been getting worse and worse. Saw a video the other day where a 10 year old girl was worried that her body wasn’t pretty enough. She was only 10 years old, her body wasn’t even fully developed. Its very sad. I’m not sure if your insecurities are any different than everyone else’s because I don’t know you very well, but I can guarantee you that you’re not alone. I hope one day you’re able to overcome them, I hope everyone can, even though I know that’s not realistic
-
@Zen00 as long as they stay OUTSIDE where they belong. If they come in they’re DEAD.

I'm working on overcoming it, so much is for sure. I think everybody could overcome most of their insecurities if they really go at it (in baby steps of course and maybe with some help).
Yeah I see that trend too. Social media seems to increase it especially in young girls. Maybe since girls are naturally much more sensible to social feedback – which social networks constantly provide. Ten years ago you could go home after school and whatever was plagueing you at school just wasn't there. Today – even when switching schools – bullies continue hitting on kids (and not just kids I guess) over the internet...
