How long is it acceptable to wait for someone to come online? What's the max amount of time you should spend talking? At what point do you stop pursuing a person?

@justchatamy Hmmmm, interesting question and I see you quandary. lol
I think you kind of get used to when people are online, being a cross-continent site with people from many places allowing for the timezone's etc I think it's comes to whom it is your waiting for. If you know they are online and not responded yet, I think that's a little different.
Regarding the time, if you have free time and the conversation is flowing why put an 'acceptable' limit on the length of the conversation? (haha that would mess me up if that were to happen cause I can chat shite for ages lol)

I just let it flow really. If the conversation is interesting, even if I have to wait hours for the reply, either cuz of timezone or the person being busy... It's all about how interesting the talk/person is. Like IRL, if you like something you work for it and don't mind waiting to get it, same goes with conversations and ppl here, or so I like to think!
