For a materialistic person choice of all money and no family is easy.

But would you really call it a life if you have no one to share it with?

No one to celebrate the joys or mourn the sorrows with.

And as for money, its pretty much the most fickle thing there is,
as long as you make enough for a decent living,
In this scenario middle class is more than enough.
