Yanny or Laurel. What do you hear?
-
@sup dude, this is a problem. When I hear it on my laptop, I hear "laurel" and when I hear it on my phone, I hear "Yanny" and sometimes "Laurel" in between. And some times, "Yanny" sounds "Yammy" to me.
Ughhh wtf I am confused. -

Is this a joke hhahahahaa
Its an illusion. What do you hear XD?
-
@rendezvous I think it is related to pitch in some way. Dont know.
-
My mom hears “Yanny” but I hear both at different times but I hear “Yanny” sometimes more than “Laurel”. Or I hear “Yanrel” or “lanny”
-
@sup Yes, Its because both the words have almost same frequencies and consequently same energy. And consequently, almost same pitch.
-
@sup i hear moral at first, but after so many times it became laurel 😁
-
I HEAR BOTH DF
First I hear Yanny, then, Laurel. -
@sup i hear laurel and i cant imagine how anyone hears yanny
-
@ænema
Welp, younger ears hear yanny, because of the higher frequency,
Older ears hear laurel, because of the low frequency -
Well i hear yanny all the goddamn time
-
-
I hear it as Gary.. where the duck do the other two options come from?
-
@wtfjudith wtf did u get that gary from 😂😂😂
-
@ragnar I’ve replayed the video three times now.. and still all I can hear is a weird ass sounding “Gary” XD
