Should abortion be legal?
-
Many states have banned abortion. What do you think? Should a woman have control over her own body? Or should we prevent the killing of future babies?
-
Abortion should be legal but regulated.
Extreme cases tend to happen and should be permitted but in a normal scenario, I don't think anything past the first trimester should be allowed unless with authority from a state level judicial power or 2 advising doctors overview by an independent committee for the case.

@layla they should give free condom in schools :)
-
Abortion should be legal, women have the right to do what they want with their bodies.
If they don't have the option to do it the safe way, they could take matters into their own hands by using dangerous methods and hurting themselves a lot more. -
yes it should, women should be able to make their own choices on what to do with their baby, cause there the ones that have to carry the baby for 9 months, no one else
-
Abortion is legal on a federal level. I believe most states have it as legal.
- Every human being has the right to choose what they do involving their own body.
- Life begins at conception. Once the sperm meets the egg it is a human life.
https://www.princeton.edu/~prolife/articles/embryoquotes2.html - People also have the right to choose not to have sex, buy condoms, and go to CPC's and receive alternate means of health care.
I'm not a woman and have no idea the immensity of a choice like getting an abortion. My wife and I can't conceive again because it is too dangerous for her after having two C sections. I hope whatever decision is made for that woman, that feels she needs one, that she is taken care of properly and treated with respect.

I am of the opinion that all women should have a say in the matter of abortion.
There are many reasons that a woman may not wish to carry a child to term.
Rape, being one
Potential Health Risk
Single individual with no financial means /support to provide for a child
Many other reasons why a woman should have a say in the matter and not leave her future life in the hands of law makers that do not have a clue -
Well it depends from place to place.
Since you are based in USA , it must be legal there given the large number of child pregnancy cases there. -
@layla MTP should be legal upto certain period of time, like upto 5 months or 2nd trimester. Its completely safe to terminate pregnancy just up to the first trimester. And after there are many risks involved. And moreover, at some places they need to regulate it because some people tend to favor a particular gender and they tend to curse the child if its not favorable for them. It should be absolutely legal, but the regulations completely depend on the region to region.

A lot of people here are saying it should be legal (and I mostly agree), but nobody seemed to mention that the unborn child should also have the right to live. It looks like you are thinking of the baby as a "thing", a property, but it is a human.
I think abortion should be legal if the pregnancy was a result of a crime or if it poses health issues to the woman. -
Your question is in my religious textbook..
-
@layla Can I just answer this with a YES or a NO?
NO, it shouldn't be. That's what I believe and I have no reason for that -
