I miss University so much. This is one of the most powerful compositions I've ever created. This painting took 3 months; I spent between 10 to 16 hours a day working on it.

I filmed it after putting the finishing touches on the blood and fire. You can hear my Professor talking to one of the senior students about her latest project in the background.

Any artists start by drawing based on reference photos and drawings. I wouldn't feel bad about it. I think the main difference is when you're merely using it as a guide (because you like the style or other elements) and claiming as your own original piece. If you need someone to talk to about it, I'm all ears. :)

It took me days to finish it. It's a layer by layer process. From light shade to darkest and I used a soft bond paper so smudging would be easy.
