Peaking at a young age.

@sarah_the_magpie Can't say all the best days are behind, because I do not know what may lie ahead. However, a sense of weariness, staleness, perhaps even jadedness. It's as if things don't have the same meaning. Sounds, colors, tastes and textures are dull, faded, almost bland. Mundane. Still experiencing new things, it's just they don't seem to make the same impression or have the same impact. That's aging, I'd suppose. Tired, but not sleepy? At 4AM I know the feeling well. Chronic fatigue syndrome.

@sarah_the_magpie oh Sarah there is so much more to come for you, i appreciate that jaded feeling but it passes, one of the best bits of wisdom someone ever shared with me is this- nothing good or bad lasts forever.That was 15 years ago and ive held onto it because it's true, life comes in cycles, peaks and troughs, ups and downs. And I've personally found in my own experience that when you're rock bottom something unexpected shows up out of the blue every time. So chin up buttercup! Xxx

@sarah_the_magpie Never give up on hope! Good things are always going to happen!

@sarah_the_magpie
I feel sleepy without getting tired .. N I'm optimistic so I guess I haven't get on peak n never think that way (maybe) -
@Ash-exe n I learn new things weekly thanks to my work

I always try to find the best moments of my life in the past. You can say I am the man of the past. I'm living the past, because I consider the present as unwelcome and afraid of the possible changes in future.
So, for me, dependence happiness (or possibilities) vs time can be described as h(t) = e^(-t)
And the peak of that function is located when time tends to minus infinity, which is impossible

does anyone else feel like they've already peaked in life? like your best days are behind you? like you've felt every single emotion you're ever gonna feel, and you're never going to feel or experience anything new?
does anyone else feel tired? not sleepy, just..... tired? like, really really tired?
I think everyone gets that way every now and then. I know I do.
Disenchanted
Burned out.
Same old same old same old.
Happens for different reasons to different people in different ways.
Just don't let it get to you so badly that you get all depressed and shit.
Go somewhere you've never been. Do something different. Expand your horizons and open your mind to new ideas or cultures -
I believe that feeling is fleeting in our life, since it comes and goes without warning.
I am kinda at that stage right now and few months ago I was going wild travelling all around Europe, so I'd say those are just phases and it's up to you to know how to turn it around.
The thing is the older you get, the harder is to break the cycle thus making the "peaking" happen more often when you grow older. -
@belethor I guess you're anti-me :laughing:
-
@Ash-exe May I ask u why u said the word "lie" last time?
-
@Red-Threat when?
-
@Red-Threat Haha anti-me? What do you mean? 😁
-
@Ash-exe Couple hours ago, in public chat. Maybe it wasn't addressed to me, of course... If so, I am sorry
-
@belethor You are a quite opposite person with a quite opposite world view, that's what I meant.
You know, if you wanna know a truth, just take optimist's point of view and pessimist's, sum them up and divide the sum by 2. -
@Red-Threat Haha okay man I get you 😁 Truth is whatever pessimists and optimists both agree on 😁
-
@Red-Threat ok
-
@belethor Actually, I didn't think of that, but that's wise, yeah, and pretty much logical
-
I did many times, but kept finding out that better things were still happening in life.
