You could say everything we experience β including dreams β is more real than the "objective world" because experience and consciousness are the two things whose existance cannot be denied (cause you are conscious of your experience right now).
The question is rather: is there an "objective world" and if yes, what makes that one so special? There is certain undeniable evidence that there is indeed an objective world: Things in this world make sense.
When you wake up from a dream, you realize that often, your dream did not make any sense. You blipped from one scene to the next, people and things just change and that all seems to be logical while you dream. If however your dream becomes a lucid dream you start to realize that things don't make sense and thus you realize that you are dreaming.
But even more than that. Using something purely theoretical β mathematics β we were able to create the most amazing technologies and predict events in the natural world with great accuracy. Everything in the natural world just seems to follow certain rules and it all works together to create this strange harmony of reality.
If this was a matrix it was just too perfect. We have not been able to find a single bug in reality. By perfect I obviously don't mean that there are no problems, I mean the fact that everything in the universe is working so well together that something as fragile as life could even exist.

Am I just a Frankie Howerd robot who dreamed he was a man, missus?

@Blood I make up words when I'm High

@Anjalidevra Y.E.S YOU ARE REAL AND YOU EXIST AS A HUMAN AND LET ME RECALL YOU, THAT'S WHY YOU POSTED A TOPIC AND QUESTIONING YOUR REALITY. NO BUTTERFLY WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT. Arghh theoretical physics is wasting our best living minds on nonsense with those bullshitting thots that reality is an illusion and bla bla, don't really dig it.
-
@Firefly
Butterflies are real. This isn't theoretical physics. -
@Kana you see butterflies are Insects and their nervous system is relatively underdeveloped for a very detailed model of the world especially for hypothetical worlds (which would be important for planning and reasoning). What I meant, was ''no butterfly would question ''its existence'' 'cause it ain't capable of.

Despite theoretical physicists theorizing over what reality is, this topic is β always has been, always will be β a philosophical topic. And it is a good thing that theoretical physicists have to study a bit of philosophy these days.

We are conciousness , as Sigmund frued defines the concept of ego , our core personality that lies beneath our awareness , we may be humans but conciousness is being

it's a philosophical aspect* of Theoretical physics. However, there is a difference in perspectives and theoretical Physics leads to many philosophic inquiries which are mostly spurious or misleading.
Some of you may not agree, but this is what I think. Can't argue further.
Peace out.
