I'm confused -
@mASHter The word "the" sometimes used to signify power.It is therefore can be used before the names of famous places and landmark like "i am going to see the Eiffel Tower" and the world has many countries among which USA is the most significant country so i guess that makes sense but "the"can't be put before the names of famous person.

@Rajeev2021 but I don't think we have 2 mexicoes in the world .. I mean I did not get the grammatical rule . I'm middle of learning another language and I choose English as preferred language or something. So I have to translate it in English where I get confused .. Its only among countries yet tho.

@me_is_not_celia
What about u.a.e. ? ππ -

@mASHter Also yes I was little wrong there "the" is used before USA because it is defined as cluster or collection of some states as the word United is there.So 'the' can be used before all 'United' countries.
-
@Rajeev2021
So if I use America there like
I'm going to America
Then there is no need to use the ? -

@mASHter "I am going to America" is the correct one as it is singular but if you call Americas which is symbolizing both the continents north and south "the" should be used. I am going to the Americas.

@mASHter ooooooof did u really just ask that ππ
