Have you ever encountered an actual prediction of the future? Maybe made one yourself?
I have had a few personal ones. And I know of a few big christian ones:
In 1917 three children in Fatima Portugal had an apparition of the Virgin Mary. She predicted (see wiki) the following things that already came true:
She also predicted the murder of the pope and war coming over rome. This has not yet come true. And hopefully never will, since all her predictions are dependent on us changing our lives.
In TLIG Jesus predicts on the 11th September 1991, that
"the earth will shiver and shake and every evil built into Towers will collapse into a heap of rubble and be buried in the dust of sin!"
and that we would see
"the Judge"
This prediction came true exactly 10 years later – to the day – when the World Trade Center was destroyed.
In another apparition to a businessman in Schio Italy the virgin mary said on 28/12/2000 that
"when the law of euthanasia passes, the world has reached a decisive point. Then you will see and experience what humanity has to suffer, because she has betrayed God"
The euthanasia law passed in Italy in September 2019. And in September 2019 Covid-19 broke out in China and has hit Italy like no other country except the US...
And last but not least, in Garabandal in the 1960s another apparition of the virgin Mary predicted, that a great chastisement – as a result of humanity's betrayal against God – that would begin at a time when
"when you can see that Holy Mass could no longer be celebrated freely"
e.g. now, when basically all church services in the whole world are forbidden.
The apparition explained, that then – when the world needed it the most – God would act. He would send us something the children called "the warning" and described it as a moment, where every soul would see itself through the eyes of God, and realize the weight of all her sins.
This warning will of course not be sent to make us panic, but as a chance to convert and change our lives. And – according to the children – God will do even more to help us leave our evil ways:
He will perform a great miracle in the year after the warning, at Garabandal (and supposedly in other places at the same time) which would be so special that nobody could deny it comes from God. Conchita, the only one of the children who is still alive, has the task of announcing to the world the date of this miracle 8 days in advance. She's now over 70 so it cannot be long.
Do I believe all this has happened? Hey, history is history, just look it up for yourselves.
Do I believe what hasn't happened will happen? Yeah, I think most of it will, since apparently we do not change. I mean 50-60 million innocent children are being killed every year (abortion), and you expect God would not eventually put an end to this? I don't think so...
Anyways. Tell me about other predictions that have come true, I'll be curious to get to know some more.
You're right that the Fatima prophecies are a fascinating thing, PP. Howard Hughes did an hour on it on his Unexplained show, and it blew my mind (wasn't there an extra, secret prophecy, which the Vatican thinks will mess things right up, so they've kept it under wraps ever since?)
But don't, of course, forget where the big prophecies are: THE SIMPSONS.

Some are. Others are not, especially if they have a timeframe. Everything will happen in 1000 years. Well every normal thing like a war. Please note the abnormal things that were prophesized and would certainly not happen or be predictable. Because when they happen, you know where to go, and that's why I wrote this, so all you loved people find your way home :heart:

Yap, the simpsons are a scary one! And southpark too! Strange really how those TV shows are able to be so accurate in some things...
The third one was revealed in 1995 I think and it is the one that predicts the death of the pope and war over rome. The pope (JPII) interpreted it in the way that it meant he would get shot (he was...). I think he was wrong, I think this has yet to come...
There are speculations that they haven't published all of the third one. However I think what they published is scary enough :yum:

I'm on the fence with this stuff personally, I can interpret it as prescience but also as intelligent guesswork/ predictions. From time immemorial humanity has been fucking each other over as well as everything else. Also there have always been natural disasters and disease pandemics so it's not a wild stab in the dark to predict more of the same. On the other hand some of the predictions are spookily accurate and i have had in my personal life moments of prescience that turned out to be true. Foresight or coincidence? I don't know and i kinda like it that way, a bit of mystery and debate. The euthanasia one is a bit tenuous though, it's been legal in Switzerland for a long time for instance so linking Italy's legalising it to covid is very flaky for me. I always enjoy your posts however, they are consistently thought provoking and intelligent. I hope you and yours are safe and well bro

I find it interesting how many people have those little presciences... it seems to be much more common than you'd think :thinking_face:

It has been – to my knowledge – legal in switzerland when the profecy was given. So if the profecy says, that the suffering would come once the euthanasia laws pass, then it must of course mean some place euthanasia wasn't legal yet. It also doesn't say, that the passing of this law is the cause, just the event that coincides the beginning of the suffering. I don't think it's tenuous tbh, because it was given to an italian, in italy. So where else would you expect the passing of the euthanasia laws, that would coincide with the profecy, than in italy?

Talking about the future, we ought to consider the need of future generations. Try to do just two simple things for the future. One, use less of your car. Second, separate your garbage. From here we can predict what will happen.
@pe7erpark3r I truly agree with you. Morality. Ethical behavior. It would help if we as the older generation set a better example. But still it’s crucial to have a concern about safeguarding our planet’s future as well.

Uh let me add one more information: the warning would coincide with a cosmic event that has something to do with a comet or two comets (the children were not very specific)... and this means it could conincide with the comet ATLAS that was discovered 2019 and will be so close to earth that everyone will see it, since it'll glow stronger than Venus on Mai 23rd 2020... Hehe. I do that. But... that's not exactly going to change much, since private cars make around 5% of CO² emitions, and separating your garbage well...
There are some very different things we should do to make the world a better place.
And further a society in which the rich have much greater of a handicap of getting richer. Stop arguing about genders, and telling children that boys can also be on the period. Stop killing our children. Things like that.

I want to add one something about the interpretation of true profecy...
The real reason they are given is never to make us know things in advance to detail. Not at all. The reason God – and His associates – prophecy of future events is always to call us to live holy, like God is holy. And it is to make us feel safe when bad things happen, and thus to increase our trust (=faith).
With that in mind, let's look at the afore mentioned prophecy in TLIG. Here are the words:
– the earth will shiver and shake –
and every evil built into Towers will collapse into a heap of rubble and be buried in the dust of sin! above, the Heavens will shake and the foundations of the earth will rock!
These words could mean
Point is, you cannot say in advance what this prophecy means. In hindsight however it will make perfect sense. As this one does now:
These words were dictated by Jesus to Vassula Ryden on September 11th 1991, exactly 10 years to the day before 9/11. And they meant – at minimum – that the twin towers would collapse, and that people on the whole earth would be shocked.
So it does not make sense, to start calculating what will happen when. The next pandemic might come next year, and we might be confined at home again. Two comets might collide next year, being unpredictable as these things are. Well, it could mean the Eta Aquariid meteor shower which is going on right now, and/or the comet SWAN which can prolly be seen into june 2020 with the naked eye... Or it could be in 10 years. Or 20. Or the kids might have misunderstood what cosmic events were meant to happen... Fact is, we don't know, and we won't know before it happens. It will however be clear in hindsight what the prophecies actually meant...
And let me add a little prophecy of my own, for myself. On June 2nd 2020 something good will happen to me :grin:. Hope I'm interpreting it correctly :)
