Even if he is stealing for his hungry family he is stealing from a person trying to make an honest living, the man he stole from also has a family to feed and he is actually trying to do the right thing.
Crimes in the heat of the moment have to be treated leniently but still it is a crime.
The person who stole should've asked for help, People inherently are good, they see someone in need they help irrespective of their caste, creed, religion, race,or gender. All i am saying is stealing is wrong and its the responsibility of the State to take care of these people.
